Heads up ...........

The Moto GP boys will be running Jerez this weekend 16-18.
Moto GP dot com will show the 40 minute BMW shoot out live Sunday on the site...package deal available now...will not include the 08 season...what this means is...if you have the winter test pack like me...it expires the 15th...all teams and riders will be there...I think i'll give the HI-RES a go...see if it's worth it for the 08 season...

I have the winter package too and presumed it would carry on until Qatar.
I suppose I should read the info more carefully.
They doing live timing for the other test days in Jerez?

As far as i know and can remember from last year...they'll have live timing, but no live feed till the Sunday shoot out...

Ok I've had a crack at the hi res deal too for the first time. Only lasts a few days so might as well test it out.

sorry for being stupid i never done this kinda thing before but have been interested, so you saying i can purchase like a weekend subscrition only to watch this weekends antics??

What does Honda have up their sleeve? I haven't been in the game long enough to know if that is what teams usually do. I remember Suzuki doing something along those lines last year, so is it usually BS?

I also made that mistake - paid 16 Euros for a few interviews as far as I can tell. Won't be happening next year.
I've bought the normal res package - here in the boondocks I doubt my line speed is up to the high res version. Hopefully it'll be like the races last year - you can choose to use either 300kb/s or 450kb/s. My link should manage the latter. hopefully.
 
Can't wait. Should have footage available on italian telly so hopefully won't have to fork out for dorna's crap online feed.
 
I just bought the hi res on motogp. I hope its good as it'll determine what I purchase for the season.

yeah andrew your correct there, i have a 2 meg connection and i watched the HD sample bugger that it just kept buffereing alltime and i can imagine it to be much worse when thousands are watching it.......

im wondering shall i risk it, it says you need a 1 meg connection but thats more like 4 meg

Thats what I figured as well.
Australian internet is pretty crap compared to overseas so streaming at a higher res might be stretching it a little. I'll probably play it safe with Standard res for the year unless this trial performs really well.
