And for the record, I consider this on topic due to the fact that this man is a radioactive mutant.

And we are at Motegi

I wonder if Godzilla was actually a forecast, not fiction???

You may need to be a subscriber, but if you go to results for the session on the motogp.com site then the pdf, you get pretty well everything you could want.

(EDIT to be precise you need to select the category ie motogp then the session ie FP2 then all the analysis options come up).

Which, I am pretty sure, is exactly where those two PDFs came from...

Sounds promising from valentino in FP2, ironic if they have made substantial steps to fixing the ducati and they change the rules markedly again.

We will see how stoner goes with more time but he is usually fast from the get go so he may be physically handicapped. Shows how well rossi did coming back from the fracture in 2009 I guess, although an uncomplicated fracture can be mruch better than joint and ligament injuries, as rossi's shoulder problem also demonstrated.
I think it's worth taking into account that Casey had a bike problem in each session. Sure he's not 100% but he's done a good job today.

I fully expect Emperor Pig to hire Ben's crew to work on Stoner's bike this weekend.

The topic of team orders seems to come up every year. yet i have never seen an instance in GP where one could make the case that someone complied to any sort of team orders. I think its a non arguement. That .... just dont happen in GP.

WSBK Spoiler:

Maybe not insanely overtly like Laverty did in Wsbk season finale. Laverty was over 10 secs ahead of Biaggi, then practically stopped, parked, and waited for Biaggi to cross the finish line (until he realized Biaggi could win the title by exactly HALF a point, at which time he crawled forward).
<
But I'd say it does happen covertly in GP but usually the points are so spread out that there is no major need for it. Edwards blocking for Rossi is one image that comes to mind, the commentators calling Collin "the perfect teammate". And of course Dani taking out Nicky. Oh wait, thats not an example.
<

Hahaha, wow. Yeah, you're right, we might see an epic "dual"! A healthy Rossi who cruises for points and an injured crippled Stoner. I can see where you're coming from buddy, Stoner has to be seriously handicapped for it to look like VR is his equal. Hell, we might see them really battle for 5th, eh?
<

I do not remember you saying the same when a cruising-for-points Stoner suddenly woke up to beat a crippled Rossi in 2010, but hey, objectivity is not your forte Jum, why expect any from you.

By the way, your power to read my thoughts is mind boggling. I might as well give up thinking and rely on you to write all my posts. You could actually write everybody's posts, uh? Surely you re-write a lot of them already!

Last year's pole was a 45.2 if I remember well (Stoner's). We are still far.

Tomorrow the top riders will improve. It has to be seen if the Ducatis can also improve as much. And it seems some have issues with the brakes overheating.

Or Pedrosa blocking for Hayden at Valencia in '06. Remember that, Jum?

LOL. Maybe I'm just slow
<
but I don't remember either.

Peddles pulled over as soon as his board showed Nicky was behind, but saying he managed to block anyone is a bit of a reach. I think Melandri and Capi got by over the next lap or two without any real trouble. Back then Pedrosa has about as much 'road presence' as a squirrel on the freeway.

ah theres a WWE-VR Race on this weekend then

BSB Triple header Sat/Sun & Italian Superbikes Sun are RACING Too

Never let the facts get in the way of a prime opportunity to yank Jum's chain...

I'll have you know I've all but memorized that race. (Its a disease) Regarding the facts...I don't think the lap was even complete after Nicky passed Dani where Melandri had already gone past the midget (I think Loris came past a bit later, a few laps or so). Oh, I get it, you meant Dani tried to block Rossi, as he was going back in a hurry, as just before VR crashed, it was Casey about to overtake Pedro. Dani did look like he let Nicky by, but lets be honest here, the way Nicky made up ground and then left Dani for dead, it would have made zero difference. Dani's lucky Nicky didn't drop kick him as he came past, hahaha. Anyway, If there is anybody I should thank for actually "blocking", that man would be Casey Stoner! After all, he's the guy that kept Rossi at bay and if you remember, I think it was Rossi trying to pass the young lad that ultimately may have caused his meltdown crash. So, thanks for reminding me, I owe Casey a great big fat Thank You!

...., I'm really gonna miss that kid. I wish that ....... would reconsider retirement.

I would love it if Casey would go back to ducati and win next year's title. A pointless daydream (you bet) but it would just sent Emperor Pig into conniptions and then there would have to be all those other rule changes to make it "fair" again.

Clause 137.2 Any Ducati ridden by any person with the initials CS must have a diesel engine and carry 50kg of ballast to account for the advantage of fuel efficiency.

I watched the first laps of estoril 2006 again the other day having not watched it since 2006. Colin blocking for valentino was quite noticeable, with nicky coming quite close to dani when he passed him because colin got in the way.
