I doubt Stoner will listen to team orders, and I hope Honda does not give them.

Oh if Stoner was given team orders ..... he'd hear them ...... then do what he wanted with more gusto.

I don't think you guys still get stoner ( or perhaps any racer ) do you. Honda would not dare give him orders, or even requests.

What will be interesting will be how Stoner, reacts to the situation.

I hope the team don't try to impose orders on him, I understand why they have them sometimes but I don't agree with them. For me you should always try to win, end of, I know it's a team sport but I always feel it cheats the fans if a driver/rider gives up a win for someone else.

BM, I don't pretend to know any of the racers, espcially Stoner, I would have to have a personal relationship with them and I still would be in the dark with the man that actually races and risks his life for a living, they're two different animals once they strap the helmet on.

That notwithstanding, Stoner has always been the type to do his thing and do it his way, but he also has shown he can be loyal, hence he might listen to Puig and help Danny out.

Honestly I don't think it will matter, Jorge most likely will finish top 3 for the remainder of the year.....Joreg Lorenzo 2012 MotoGP World Champion.

Stoner said in the presser honda hasn't asked. But if they did he wouldn't help Dani. He said championships are won fair and square without the help of your teammate. So Dani will have to rely on the hardcore detuning of Stoners bike . I would expect Casey to be running somewhere around idk Ben Spies.

Another reason to like Stoner, eh Mdub?

I fully expect Emperor Pig to hire Ben's crew to work on Stoner's bike this weekend.

No worries L8. BM pretends to know everything for us.

Did you see the season finale of Wsbk? Seeing Laverty's asswhipe drop back then hang around the finishline waiting for his teammate was a dismaying sight.

Yea I watched and cringed the whole time. Max in the end earned it so I guess I'll let the site of Laverty sitting up pass into the recesses of my mind!

That wont help. It has to be a finishing order of Pedro, Stoner, Lorenzo for the remaining races for Pedro to win. Stoners bike needs to run out of fuel on the last corner of the last lap.

Stoner only managed 4th spot, but it looked like he was in the pits for the majority of the session. Anyone know where to find all the lap times for each rider, instead of just their fastest lap?

The topic of team orders seems to come up every year. yet i have never seen an instance in GP where one could make the case that someone complied to any sort of team orders. I think its a non arguement. That .... just dont happen in GP.

Tady okada slowed and let Doohan past to wrap up the title, even Randy said it was a shock.

There is a little known site called motogp.com that gives that and a lot more, such as best partial.

edit to add. On the homepage, click the stopwatch nest to motogp. When the pdf comes up, look at the top and click on Analysis.

Good, I wish it didn't happen in F1 but sadly it still does. It's wrong, end of as far as I'm concerned.

Hm never noticed all the pdf's on there. Thanks, must've overlooked them all along.

Sounds promising from valentino in FP2, ironic if they have made substantial steps to fixing the ducati and they change the rules markedly again.

We will see how stoner goes with more time but he is usually fast from the get go so he may be physically handicapped. Shows how well rossi did coming back from the fracture in 2009 I guess, although an uncomplicated fracture can be much better than joint and ligament injuries, as rossi's shoulder problem also demonstrated.
