Guess I'm not being very clear. This rule will not change anything. A pig on a monkeys back is not going to be able to keep up with a monkey on a pigs back.

yes it will.

minimum bike weight 140kg for all means the midget jockey riders will be punished because they have to ride heavier bikes, not only relative to their bodies but speaking in total.

very glad to hear about this, 65-75kg should be the normal and desired rider weight and not be punished by being uncompetitive

rocket starts, later braking points, the advantages to a lower center of gravity are endless...

depends whether the added weights can be placed at a desired place on the bike. i would expect its better to weigh 70kg to keep the front wheel on the ground than weigh 50kg and have 20kg under the seat...

That is where I am saying a team with the most money will be able to place that weight in the most desirable spot. What team is going to let the weight be placed in a general spot, when they already can bring them a heavier bike?

only allow a couple of homologated chassis variants for a whole season, problem solved.

moto2 is more of a cup than a prototype championship anyways

crash.net is saying any rider under 75kg will need ballast adding, 140kg for the bike. Personally, I think it is a bit late seeing as how Moto3 implemented a minimum weight straight away. Riders like Scott Redding having been at a disadvantage from the start

i'd calculate 10kg for gear including leathers and helmet
