Like I said, FoxNews viewpoint:

gross inadequacy = several problems which need ironing out
Perhaps you've been hanging around people who have difficult with word meaning or just dismiss word definitions entirely, it appears its rubbed off on you. Which might explain your frustration in making clever remarks that regularly backfire.

in·ad·e·qua·cy
inˈadikwəsē/Submit
noun
the state or quality of being inadequate; lack of the quantity or quality required.

The Michelin is inadequate at the moment. FACT. Would you like to explain why you think the opposite is true?

Inadequate is not the adjective in question oh purposefully obtuse one...

adj. gross, gross·er, gross·est
1. So obvious or conspicuous as to cause or heighten offense: gross injustice. See Synonyms at flagrant, disgusting or offensive.

Actually 'inadequate' is debatable too... Do you believe that the Bibs will only be 'adequate' if they mirror the 'Stones' performance characteristics in every way?

The bridgestones were awesome at shattering vale and dani to pieces because of their inadequacies compared to pirelli track day tyres. Hope Michelin can keep up the good work. Here's to hoping the Michelin front tyre gets the AmA stamp of approval.

"It depends upon what the meaning of the word 'is' is."

(Why does debating the meaning of a plain word sound so familiar...)

Hardly unpredictable... see posts 14 and 15.

A lot of folks choose to ignore the fact that it was very much predictable that the Michelins are not going to be Bridgestone clones.

What was predictable way back when the change of brands was announced - was that the bikes would have to be modified in order to work with the Michelins and that the riders best at adapting to new handling parameters would be the most successful next year.

The riders and their teams may not be happy about it - but they (unlike the armchair experts) are pragmatically preparing to change rather than sitting around whining about how the Michelins are not exactly the same as the Bridgestones.

The Stones are gone, the Bibs have arrived. They're here, they're queer; get used to it.:p

Haha. I thought you were linking me to a reputable statement from a a legitimate source to nullify my statement, kind of like post 17 where Kropos quote, ...... egg all over your enthusiastic yet ill feigned attempt to catch Jumkie in a gotcha moment. I got it admit though I like your brash tact. Whenever I make an astoundingly erroneous statement and someone calls me on it, Im going to use your method and steer them back to my original incorrect opinion to prove....... well to prove Im a complete idiot

Well now, let's be fair and balanced to Mick.

He has a viewpoint that's been proven wrong, and deviating from it would be admitting he was wrong...and well, something in the air around here sometimes causes some to ignore that they are wrong.

But Mick has explained it.

See post number 14 where I originally put my foot my mouth. That will set you straight. MickD

HAHAHA, c'mon dude

Ya just need both feet to backpedal I guess.

The Michelins are inadequate.

MickD: oh .... you, what gave you that impression?

A: The crashes.

MickD: oh .... you, that doesnt mean .....

Kropo: the crashes indicate the Michelin is inadequate.

MickD: well I dont define inadequate like that. Besides, These top 3 GP riders didn't realize they were testing Michelin and are used to Bridgestones.

I would be inclined to believe that Michelin probably sat down the riders and told them what to expect from the current tire characteristics at the last test. I highly doubt they were told to just go out there and see what they find out, and if you crash, so be it.

I don't understand.
The lead baggers of Krop's takes are now using a quote from him to counter others? And using him in an appeal to authority?
What am I missing?
And is the RCV any good or not??

There is a word for this phenomenon - but I don't dare say it here as certain members believe that it's mere mention is carcinogenic.

Doc, We burritoed the hatchet dude. Did so with Migs too if u hadn't noticed. Had to take drastic measures to combat a far more sinister threat to the forum. Its one thing to have differing racing opinions, thats after all what a forum is about, however, its far another thing to have a Kancer that threatens to destroy yet another forum. I had to join others and muster all our acumen to thwart such an evil. The good news is that we won, and calm has been restored as the threat seems neutered.

Oh, the RCV, it's fine.
