I bumped into James Toseland yesterday afternoon in Topshop, I was looking at T-shirts and stepped back and bumped into someone he went sorry mate ! I turned, looked and said ...... hell its James Toseland !! Good result the other week kid !
He says cheers mate.
I asked about how he thought it went, he was all cool about it and said they are only gonna go faster. I then got star struck and was like oh well good luck, see you around.
He then went and bought a £8 T-Shirt.
Madness !!!
20 mins later I was walking down the main shopping street here and he walked pasted again and looked at me and alright mate !! How class !!!!!
 
thats JT meet him last year at an event and he could'nt do enough for peeps.photos/chat/autographs etc. and after 2 hrs of bowling across about 32 lanes at the bowling alley against dozens of players scores added up who won.yes JT.
 
Cool, great story. Thanks for sharing. I'm glad his benevolent persona in the post race interviews is backed up by what sounds like a genuine humble man.

I was always impressed in his interviews, especially the ones where he had the presents of mind to give a shout out to people going through tough times or some condolence to somebody.

Cool, now we have a few really nice guys to buffer the prim Dona in the paddock.

Toesland, my favorite foreigner on the grid.


(I'm sure all those Rossi fan Brits will eventually join me in rooting for him, bandwagoners).

yea just got in from meeting him, seems a really nice guy. alot nicer than when i met foggy.
 
Huh, and Rossi sports clothes we'd have to sell our home to buy. I am liking JT more every time I hear something about him.

It was at a race track, but I ran into Tom Kristensen and didn't know who it was and called him an a$$ right to his face, so your running into him could have been worse.

There was no photographers around him? Wow, must be a quiet guy then. Keeps on the low down as he is in the UK and is a Champion in WSBK.

craig, I do not think anyone has ever had a good meeting with Foggy.

He was in line at the concessions buying a nuch of food. I was inpatient, and said pretty loud as he passed, to a buddy, "Look at that a$$." Tom heard and turned, and that is when we figured out who he was. I explained and he invited us to the Audi pits.

That's alright then, lol. He's the biggest arse i think i've ever met, didnt wanna engage in conversation with anyone, who was there to see him. Just the odd grunt and stare.
JT was completely the opposite, very happy to chat with you and seemed really grateful for all the luck that everyone was wishing him.

I am clueless to the brand. What would you compare this too that we American's have heard of. Is it like the Gap?
