MCN claims valentino rossi rides the M1 next season!

Cummon 22. With your super kart experience you must know that BS comes hand in hand with the upper echelons of ANY sport, motor or otherwise. Casey's leaving has/had nothing to do with Vale and everything to do with his experiences with Ducati, Honda and Dorna, starting with Ducati/Marboro treatment during his illness.

To be honest I think the constant whinging/sooking/moaning he got at each track, from the boppers, was a bigger turnoff than all of those.

How has Stoner been forced out? He has a competitive bike underneath him, no-one forced him to retire.

I think he believes his own hype & wants the kudos now. Even Rossi whethered the same kind of criticism until he left Honda. It's just something every successful rider has to put up with. It's disappointing from Stoner, & along with looking at some old interviews I think it highlights his inflated sense of self worth, & toys out of the pram mentality. An over-reaction to having decent tyres taken away from him again. He should keep fighting & then the kudos would come his way.

You mean him winning championships on 2 different bikes, including for a manufacturer for whom no-one else has won a championship and for whom it looks very unlikely that anyone else will win a championship in the future, is just run of the mill, even though it was regarded as a particular distinction for the very few others, including 3 blokes called agostini, lawson and rossi, who have done it otherwise? Only being the second youngest rather than the youngest to win a premier class championship obviously doesn't cut it either.

I'm sure you do think that. Unfortunately that's not what Casey has said... Unless you think he is a spin doctoring liar?

Like I said criticism comes with the territory, you have to keep trying.

Whatever the reason for him leaving, I think it is abundantly clear to him that not much credit/kudos will come his way whatever he does, on the worst bike or the best. Perhaps he has decided that proving his detractors wrong is not sufficient reason to continue, having proven whatever he wanted to prove to himself.

And since you mention it, why were both his title wins followed by immediate major changes to the tyres? Just because you are paranoid does not mean everyone isn't after you.

Is a question that begs to be answered. Dorna's worst nightmare was to see their least popular star go on a run of championships that would have left the Golden Goose irrelevent.

Wonder if the next anouncement will involve the Marlboro man not renewing their contract with Ducati Corsa.

So who to Ducati ??

Crutchlow. I would test Espargaro.

Rossi blah blah blah...

Why the .... is Smith getting the Tech3 M1? Why the hell is Bautista so ....... gay and still gets the Honda?

How about Marquez on the factory Honda? No deals done here worthy of comment.......

I have more than registered my disgust at this both here and on Krops site. What annoys me most is that it was totally unnecessary. They could easily have set him up in his own team considering he brings his own sponsors and his own crew. The excuse that it displaces the crew a satellite team builds up over years is bogus. Honda offered Rossi a satellite bike and he has his own crew and sponsors.

This decision is at least 50% of the reason motogp.com will not be getting a subscription from me next season.

I agree with you goatboy, but my point was a lot of the dorna ........ revolves around its favourite rider, VR. And it's the same in any sport
