Marquez vs Lüthi incident

High risky Marquez stole his line by breaking slightly later, he left him no room, it would have ended being a complete disaster had Lüthi not taken precaution by completely gong off track, he’s a true gentleman of the sport and Marquez should have been penalized in my view.



All rider must apply "due diligence" when competing, be aware and ride less dangerously. Not sure if this is in their code of conduct, if not it should be. Marquez went all in without a care in the world. Trying to win at all cost in these situations could end lives.
 
agreed, that was a very dirty move but hey, as long as you're called "the next alien" it appears you can do whatever you want.its not that marquez is really that much better than other riders, he just stoops to a lower level if needed

Indeed, to make matters worse, he didn't even apologies, all he said was he didn't see him, its messed up how bad riding gets rewarded.

What the .... is the point of Ben and the mods setting up forums? We went over this a year ago when Ben re-did the forum and this was the choice of all involved. Not that difficult - you manage to understand the difference between SBK and MotoGP...

What I find most irritating (besides the fact that this thread is not in the Moto2 forum) is race direction's inconsistency in their decisions. When Zarco made his pass on Terol last year (Catalunya), he was demoted first by ten, then by twenty seconds, just to make sure the punishment keeps him off the podium. I consider Marquez' move a lot more dangerous. I think it was very much on the limit, both incidents. But the point is - you either punish both or none. Set up a policy and keep it up. And there's the Spanish passport thing as well.. never mind.

Are you a ....? I was posting in the middle of the afternoon my time and maybe you're pissed in the afternoon everyday but I prefer to save afternoon drinking for special occasions...



One of my favourite things about PS is the liberal moderating... So if ya can't take the ....... heat...

What do you think about the conservative management of arm pump/training to avoid it btw, (not necessarily saying stoner had arm pump rather than no tyres).

Good thread. Yah, dirty calculated move. I like Marc Marquez but it getting hard to continue. After he attempted murder on that Thai rider, then this ..... It seems race direction and the sport won't ever learn to school these boys on what is proper racing vs dirty racing. Everybody likes a scrap, and I suspect peeps will look at the incident and declare it was just hard racing. Issuing a "warning" is ......... They will continue to do this until somebody crashes.



Btw, on a related note, anybody want to convince me that the power on these bikes are equal? Marc had to sit up to slow down his bike when he didn't want to pass at will on the straights, then blasted past Andrea like it was nothing. I guess some riders get more "equal" engines than others? Or is there another explanation? Btw, don't bother telling me its because Marc is small. That's ........ too.
