And I wonder if you do watch or have watched anybody except Valentino Rossi all these years.

How do you know what MM knew?, and where did Zarco think MM was going to go, off the track perhaps?. And how is MM the rider at fault whether he is the rider in front, or the rider behind as he was at Argentina this year?.

Zarco apologised to Marquez which kind of indicates that Zarco does not see it the same way you do

From here https://www.motorsport.com/motogp/news/zarco-horror-phillip-island-crash/3204378/

"We were going so fast, there was not a lot of space on the left side," he said. "He was close to Jack and he came back into the race line for Turn 1. I was also there.

"It was a pity, because I could have done a nice race. I was feeling good, I wanted to be in first or second or third to [use] my pace and maybe pull away. Maybe I could have pulled away with Maverick [Vinales], I don't know."

He added that he's already cleared the air with Marquez, who managed to stay on his bike but was forced to retire from the race due to the impact.

"I went to him just to say sorry, because I totally destroyed the back of his bike," the Frenchman added. "He told me no worries, the most important thing is that I didn't injure myself.

"As a racer, as a sportsman, we totally understand each other."

Except that both Bautista and Lorenzo have been riding the Ducati for the same period of time ...........

Apparently, the most popular pastime here is people proving they're smarter than idiots.

My main take is that Bautista is a lot better than people including me have given him credit for being. Makes you wonder how many other also-rans would look much better on a factory bike, Casey Stoner previously having been a case in point. If he had never more or less fluked what was intended to be a 1 year place keeping factory Ducati ride he might have continued his whole career as a back marker crasher.

Absolutely. His duels with Lorenzo on the 250s were fierce.

Another freaky title post from this place ... so Rossi somehow blocked other riders from joining Yamaha so he could have Vinales on board to beat him at Philip Island? Are we back in bizarro-land?

Honda bike was built for Marquez before he even came onboard with the Honda MotoGP team, the tires were made to work best for the Honda rider at 130 lbs (that's Marquez just in case you didn't know his weight), not for Danni (112 lbs) who can't get heat into the tire. Dream on with this rubbish about blocking ... so why did Zarco NOT go to Honda? Think about it.

And today, we witness Marquez the village ..... do yet another stupid move that could have ended Zarco's life ... Marquez knew Zarco was right next to him as came along side ... then Marquez moves over in front of Zarco and hits the brakes!! What? Where exactly did Marquez think Zarco would go? Just magically disappear?

You are an absolute ....., proven grade A! If you were paying attention to this sport over the last 25 years or so you would have learn some things. Most recently Zarco came out & said it! He even made mention of it in a previous press conference. And YES, the title was done to bait idiots like you who claim to be watching motogp before rossi.

Also it is the person behind responsibility to make sure they don't run into the person in front of them. Zarco already explained what happened. Did he place blame on Marc? Once again, You are an absolute ....., proven grade A!

Go over here and do some reading on drafting https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drafting_(aerodynamics)

Also if the title upsets you, maybe you should worship a different rider.

This is all fabulously interesting but I'd like to focus on the underlined part.

If it is like you say, then why did Zarco went apologizing to Marquez right after he came back to his box? :D

No point arguing with idiots Holypuck. Once they drag you down to their level, they will just beat you with experience.

Bautista is really underrated. Look at his results in 2012 on the Suzuki, and 2013 on the Honda (when he got the factory RCV).

Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see what he can do on a V4 Ducati Superbike.

Rea may be better, but is Kawasaki up to it? I remember when Ducati caught everybody with their pants down with their Desmo. What it was, like extra 40-50 BHP? I don't expect the repeat here, but considering their experience the bike may be super competitive from very beginning.

Yeah, the strength of the Ducati is the great unknown, but I suspect that the Kawasaki will have the edge in the first year because they've had so much time developing it, but I'm not sure.

So you believe Kwack are going to come back to MotoGP?

Kawasaki has hugely upgraded ZX10RR for 19 in anticipation of the new Ducati. The showroom model is rumored to be increasing 5-6 grand for these upgrades.

I think Kawasaki has a homologation special (the ZX-10RR) which will be dearer. The standard ZX10R won't increase in price much, AFAIK.
