He's confirmed he will be back, but not what he's doing. The only rumours I've seen are commentary, and that Yamaha test rider rumour.
I didn't think he wanted to be a test rider, so commentary seems most likely. For Spanish TV maybe? He did a commentary stint on MotoGP earlier this year (think it was this year?) and I thought it was really good. I'm pretty biased though.
