I forgot to say in my previous post, on the same day I met Jorge, I also met Marquez it was 2012 and he was still a Moto 2 rider, as such there weren't many people outside his garage and I spoke with him for a bit, surprisingly he was really quiet and shy , the opposite of what he is on tv etc.

For anyone who thinks the tricycle on Lorenzo's pit board is disrespectful, they talked about it during FP4. It was out with Iannone's name on it, and it has nothing to do with Iannone being slow since he was already at the top of the sheets. It had to do with him being a couple of tenths behind Lorenzo, and it's to let Lorenzo know he is following.

Tells you how ill-informed some people in this topic to think it's an insult.

It's just another ill contrived excuse to knock Lorenzo's so called bad attitude.
The board is shown to Lorenzo then pulled in, of course it's to alert Lorenzo. After all it's not like a following rider will see the sign and give up a chance to improve his time just because a nasty man is waving a picture of a tricycle at him is it? [emoji1]

did you know gullible isn't in the dictionary?

He is well known, but hardly a superstar in Australia, and even when he were racing he would get less news media coverage than would Rossi outside of his championships (and then, the coverage would also focus on Rossi)

Ti back this up, the NSW channel 9 news will discuss who may be on pole but then immediately reference where Valentino is on the grid (they do not even mention Jack Miller unless he does very well). In Australia, Rossi is more revered by followers, fans and the yellow masses alike than has been any Australian during the Rossi era in any category of bike or car racing

Interesting though that you seem so enamoured with the very person you detest so much that you follow his twitter account, but hey, who am I to judge :p

Try to follow along with the adults DJ Gazzy Deaf. Stoners twitter was brought up in this thread, so I like everyone else, had a look.

Genuine question steeeeve, but what is it about JL that makes you find him a ......?

I readily admit that the thumbs down was poor (and recognise that he quickly and seemingly genuinely apolgised and retracted it).

Certainly is not everyone's cup of tea (just as no rider would be) but I see all around the place that JL is a ...... or any other variant and so genuinely wonder what it is that he has done. Or whether it is because people now expect far more since Rossi and the like elevated the level of fan involvement and JL just is not giving the people that involvement as he does not play the media game of others

You guys give rossi so much crap, but when he loses he often says "the other guys were faster than me"
but lorenzo says stuff like- if i didn't have this certain problem i would have won the race by a large margin.
just stuff like that.
and the pit board for instance. toddlers ride tricycles. it's a .... deny it all you want but it is what it is. why not use something more relevant like a front of a bike behind the rear of a bike. i'll tell you why. because that wouldn't be an attempt to embarass someone.
can't even smile when he takes second place.
just rubs me the wrong way. no big thang.

Youve concocted this slight, and pushed it as fact without ever having a shred of evidence to back it up. Youve persisted and tried to give it traction but it still appears that your the only fool buying it and pushing it. I'm only stepping in and saying something because it's getting ....... embarrassing. You drop in every two weeks only to spout your fake outrage tricycle story.
What are you doing in between GP events. Standing on the corner with Sky is falling signs?

i'm not outraged. it's just a bit of a ...... move. no big deal really. shred of evidence?
do you honestly think it's not meant to shame the rider behind him? the amount they're busting it out is what's getting embarrassing. especially against Ianonne today, who was much faster than him and not even close to getting a tow.
the saddest and funniest part is when he rushes out to be first on track and they bust it out! that's a laugh! i guess everyone's supposed to let him get through a few corners before they start their practice.
what a joke.

jlo- hey fellas, can i go first? i really like a clear track. and while your at it can you wait a bit. people riding behind me kinda gets on my nerves. thanks.

I don't give a flying .... if you dislike Lorenzo's personality. Feel free to dislike him/consider him a ...... all you like.

What JL has done since in the premier class anyway is race fairly and with respect for his fellow competitors, on track during races anyway, which is when it counts. He hasn't ever to my recollection taken another rider out by a deliberate illegal move, or alleged a multifaceted conspiracy to deprive him of a world championship without a shred of evidence. If he irritates you or Valentino then he irritates you. Trying to equate what you see as some lack of grace when he doesn't win with events of late season 2015 is where the false moral equivalence thing comes in.

Steve, you're an idiot.

If the announcers who are the biggest Rossi homers out there aren't saying Lorenzo is doing it in the manner you claim he is, it means you are wrong.

You and a few other boppers have this nasty habit of being proven wrong, and then refusing to acknowledge that you guys have no ....... idea what you're talking about.

The odds are quite good that if Rossi decided to contradict 600 years of scientific discovery in saying that the sun revolves around the Earth, and any one of us said ........, you along with a few others would be frothing at the mouth saying "YOU'RE OUT TO GET ROSSI THAT'S ALL IT IS ABOUT!"

You're so enamored and taken with Rossi that if he stood next to you, whipped his .... out, started pissing on you, you would look down and stare, only for him to say, "It's raining" while you stood there like a dolt nodding in agreement while stating, "Yes...you're right, it's absolutely raining. What a beautiful sun in the sky don't you think?"

And I don't give a flying .... that you don't give a flying ..... So what. That plus $7 will get you a Starbucks coffee.

Deranged rant methinks! JPS and michaelm both!

Still no counter arguments I see.

He'll never have one.

He's like a child who covers his eyes with his hands and believes no one can see him.

If he pretends he never heard anything or that everything is an opinion, how could he ever be wrong?

What I said was that you are entirely free to dislike him, which you have managed to invert as is your wont.

Similar to your argument that if Rossi had ill intent in the Sepang incident he would have ridden faster; had he ridden faster there would have been no incident, given that both slowing down and changing his line is what led to him intersecting MM.
