Double bingo. I like a guy who isnt afraid to say whats on his mind. I also like a guy who isnt an attention whore. Combine that with freakish talent and you get a rider that plenty of people around the world, especially in Australia and the US, can cheer for. Casey has said numerous times, all i want to do is race, go home to my wife and play around on my property. He could care less about bright lights and interviews, he lets his riding do his talking. If given a choice, he probably would forgo post race interviews even after a win.Its called being humble, a trait that is sorely missing in todays athlete, and really, society as a whole.

Yes, very true; I greatly respect Casey for his fortitude and character. However, Rossi is something of a paradox - he is highly professional when it comes to racing and talking engineering, while also a charmer at will - his personal and professional sides seem deeply coupled yet dichotomous. It is hard to say he is an attention seeker albeit; he does have a dark side, but one that some of his fans are blind to.

and about this gp and Simo Pedro he said:

Nicky Hayden, Ducati Team

"I've had one look at it so I didn't really get to slow it down and watch it a couple of times, so I'm not really sure. It's between them two, they don't need me to weigh in on it as I'm sure everyone will have an opinion on it. Two guys racing hard, things can happen, there's been a lot of drama this weekend, a lot of arm waving and this and that."

So far after 8 years in motogp he has been the most mature and the fairest rider in his comments.

Dont forget Colin Edwards. I havent heard one rider say a bad word about colin either
wink.gif

Why don’t we just have rossi and simo oh and rdp racing in motogp and call it the rollerblaster masterblaster

Stoner out rode them out performed them and out classed them and the only way that either him or pedro can be taken out is by stupid actions like rossi and simo did to stoner and pedro…and furthermore stoner is going to do this for the rest of the year…hes just a class above them all!!!

At the time of the Estoril incident Nicky was furious - and rightly so...he is a class act and I doubt he would see it as justice for that bonehead move by Pedro. Most sane people have long forgiven Pedro for that crash and luckily justice was done in the end and he deservedly got the title and his happy ending. Numbers dont lie
<

Pedrosa did not want to overtake Hayden at the moment he crashed in Estoril back in 2006, even though he was faster than him. He wanted to pass Nicky later, but hit a bump and crashed...that is why he took Nicky out. Anyway, later that year, in Valnecia, he made a good job in front, keeping some guys behind and then letting Nicky pass him to clinch the title.

Of course, Nicky and most of the other riders said they did not see the crash. They didn't want to tell they opinions and stir up he fans.

Complete ........ !

I am sure about what I am saying! What are your arguments? Are you american?
<

I suppose the opinions of all Spanish fans re: Simoncelli/Pedrosa at Le Mans or the opinions of all Australian fans re:Rossi/Stoner at Jerez are also irrelevant.

No im not American, nor am i a Hayden fan . This statement you made is total bollocks.

He went for the pass and was in to hot then tucked the front. I did not blame him for trying at the time but to make the statement above and blame it on hitting a bump is just fanboy bollocks plain and simple.

Are you Alberto Puig ??

Are you Alberto Puig? 1000x more relevant than, "are you American?"
<
You know compa, he might be. Perhaps he's feeling around the forums to see how people feel about Sic taking our his boy.

Vladut, it must be difficult navigating through life only using tactile sensory.

wow you just completed insulted more than half of PS and got away with it completely.......

2006 still seriously influences one side of most debates here

Clutching at straws again I see
<

This topic is of no concern to you as any debate about sanity certainly wouldn't be referencing "Talpa the village ....." as an example of rational or sane thinking. Stoner is in your head buddy and he is driving you mad....and will continue to do so
<

Like most fair and reasonable people at the time of the Portugal 2006 incident I was very angry for the stupid mistake by Dani that could have cost Nicky a world title, just as I am angry about Dani suffering another broken collarbone as a result of a similar bonehead move, this time by Simoncelli in the last race at Le Mans....Most people, however, have learned to let go of their anger over the Hayden/Pedro crash....something you should try sometime.

And speaking of insults you continue to insult the intelligence of everyone on this forum and get away with it in every single one of your lurid posts. I present another prime example of Talpas perpetual hypocrisy
<

Don't worry, I am not Puig, at least as far as I know
<
.....I am not even Spanish....

But I hated the 2006 Estoril crash as much as I hate the 2011 Le Mans crash. I argued with all the my country fellow MotoGP fans that Hayden deserved his title, even with only 2 victories
<
, I being the only one to support the American for his consistency. All the others supported Rossi, of course. So when I say what I say about the Estoril crash, I am not being a fan boy of Pedrosa, it is just what I was thinking just after the crash and exactly what Pedrosa said after the race.

And about the insults, it just proves that some of you are not smarter than Simoncelli......you need a ride through

Bla bla bla. You have not even tried to justify or debate your earlier comments. You came out and said

Pedrosa did not want to overtake Hayden at the moment he crashed in Estoril back in 2006, even though he was faster than him. He wanted to pass Nicky later, but hit a bump and crashed...that is why he took Nicky out.

Then tried to make out pedro did good-by Nicky by then saying.

Anyway, later that year, in Valencia, he made a good job in front, keeping some guys behind and then letting Nicky pass him to clinch the title.

So you think that was dani doing his bit or HRC orders ? Remember the line you puig took on the subject and Dani not saying a word? In fact all he did was hide behind his mentor !
