Le Mans Practice and Qualifying

i was checking out the practice this mornin from the live feed...Rossi was cruising..

I still think Rossi and Pedrosa are the main men, although Melandri looks good so maybe he can get a podium or hopefully the win. Things look pretty .... for Hayden again, its depressing!

Sylvan Guintoli looks to be going well!

A little bit too slippery to make any calls for me.
Hayden with his two incidents on FP2 were domed to be slow on that one as Rossi was. Better grip tomorrow can change that.

musings...

1. the times are still way off previous pole record. so times will improve. Lets hope the track is dry for qualifying..

2. Rossi, as usual, might be holding back..

3. Riders on Michelin qualifying tires tends to qualify better than bridgestone (and bridgestone has admitted thatthe michelin qualifiers are better than theirs) , but that is no reflection of how much better the bridgestone race tire might really be.

4. Dani has done well on this track before, I'll be rooting for him.
 
It's too early to call, but it looks like maybe Honda has shipped in a couple choice parts for this round. After the last round they had their big press release saying that they knew they weren't fast enough and that they would be focusing on the works team trying to give them more speed. So, maybe we'll see the (or are already seeing) the results of that this weekend.

Or maybe Rossi and the Ducs will wipe the floor with everyone again!

In hayden's interview he says they were hopeing to get the parts but wont have them till monday, unless hes just trying to psych out the others by saying that when they have them already!?!?

I know all the chat is about Le Mans, but are there any Brits going down to Mugello for the 2nd & 3rd of June?

Who, Honda?! No way, I'd never believe it. Of course they favor the reigning World Champion over Pedrobot. Come on.

All the Honda guys are saying good things about the bike so far though. Even Melandri!

The other thing I think it might be is just that this track suits the Honda more than any other they've been to so far. We'll see.

well considering they're NO WHERE near the 1min 33.990sec Q record from last year....the current times mean squat....plus there was a drizzle durring so...BRING ON THE Q SESSION!
