Shows he has no character what so ever. I really don’t know what else to write without calling names. What a disgrace he is to the sport.

Having a character you don't like is not having no character

And as i pointed out in another thread, its very over the top to be labelling Casey a disgrace to the sport because he got heated and refused to shake hands, when a legend like Rossi has shown rivals the middle finger and even had fist fights.

I agree i wouldn't label Stoner a "disgrace"...cry baby ...... ..... yeah sure..but not a disgrace..

Middle fingers and fights are cool...being a ..... is not....Come on Tom, you can't compare that Biaggi/Rossi incident to this weekends race...

Yea, Stoner had enough control to vocalise his problems, relatively respect worthy.

Curve holy .... dude why so mean spirited? It was a good race. Rossi would have done the same had it been Stoner that pulled that .... on him. He might have flipped him off like he had done in the past. Everyone gets heated its racing. Are you supposed to say good job for that move? Dude it was a barnburner. good effin race period.

No tissues for me,i have already stated i didnt have a problem with the way the race was handled by Rossi.I like that in a competitor,do what you have to do to win.I was just pointing out that in the future,if the tides are turned.

I think nobody expected Rossi to attack here, against a Stoner who looked from another planet. Surely I didn't. It seemed futile even to think of it.

At the beginning when Vale took the lead I thought that it was just a show of pride on his part, before the inevitable happened and Stoner imposed his superior pace. I was waiting for Stoner's pass--then he would just take off...

I waited, but it didn't happen. Rossi kept his lead like his life depended on it. Slowly it dawned on me... He's actually TRYING to WIN this one!? Naaaah...
<

This race reminded me (as well as many others I guess, including Stoner himself...) why this young man with a funny face has won so many world titles. Winning today took EVERYTHING Rossi has, including the traditional bit of luck, of course. Stoner WAS faster. Rossi was at the very limit all the time.

But he managed to irritate Stoner by keeping him behind,--no dirty tactics IMHO, just a masterful and ruthless application of all the tricks of the trade (and of an immense talent)--until Stoner finally MADE a mistake.

Pity, I would have preferred to see the scrap go on until the last corner, and it could have ended any way. Actually, Stoner would have probably won it if he had kept his cool.

But here is where Rossi has always been an alien--he ENJOYS it. Others get stressed, (understandably!) but not him. Immediately after the race he declared to italian TV "I really had a lot of fun!". He wasn't pretending, you could see he was excited like a little kid.

Pity Stoner expressed some sour feelings afterwards, but that's understandable. He has been squarely beaten at the very race he thought he would win hands down. That's bruising. But Casey is really fast and tough, he kept that throttle open in a furious way and never gave up. The superiority of the Ducati desmo is still there, and he's the only one who can make it visible. The battle for the title is not over...

This is the kind of duel we have been waiting to see between Rossi and Stoner, the two strongest riders in activity. I can only hope we'll see more. Next time it might be Stoner's turn to smile, and maybe Vale's to whine a little.

BEAUTIFUL

Well put.. Very Well put..
I extremely enjoyed this race. Rossi proved again to the world why He is Called "The Doctor". He deserves all of his accolades. The race was marvelous.

I am a Ducati Fan and a Casey Fan. I have rooted for Casey over Pedrosa and forever will. Casey is a champion, but he is not Rossi. Rossi is something totally different.

I believe if Casey can keep his head together this year - He will win back to back Championships. We will see.

But more importantly, Rossi has really gotten under his skin. If Rossi has broken Casey mentally Rossi will win the Championship this year.

Gentlemen. It is game ON!!
Rossi vs Stoner. Heres to the rest of the season and some good racing. Mindgames included.

I don't think so cat kicker!!!

I hesitate to call Stoner a ..... even in jest as he is the guy in the Ducati seat doing the job few could do in the first place. And so what if he said we'll see, we will see and I want to see. Do something about it!!!

What happened to your favorite rider Tom ?

I think this proves that even though stoner was faster, Rossi can beat him straight up. It may take a 100% effort from Rossi, but he can beat Stoner. It doesn't matter what track they're on, Rossi can beat Stoner if he goes all out.

Yes he can ... but he has also shown he can lose to Stoner .... by quite a bit ...... thats what we are in the midst of .... finding out who will win

China last year proved that even when Rossi was faster, Stoner could beat him straight up. It may take 100% effort from Stoner, but he can beat Rossi. It doesn't matter what thrack they're on, Stoner can beat Rossi if he goes all out.

Rossi got it done this weekend, but that doesn't mean they will all go that way does it.
