You may be right but you do know there is a minimum weight requirement that would have to be met regardless of how light the chassis is made. The idea for the lighter frame would be so the team can move ballast around on the bike as to shift weight to suit the rider style. This is one of the things that for next year they may be hoping to help cure the problems that Marco had been dealing with since he has a tough go of turning the machine. I really hope they get it right in the next few races to see if they can keep him on the team to get the new chassis figured out for him amongst the others who may have the same issues. Casey of course had the chassis as well as Marco did at the one test and Casey did great. Marco still had issues as we all know so who knows what is going to transpire in the next month or so. I would love to see Marco get to grips with the bike cause he has had the worst of seasons so maybe these next few he can turn it around and get ready for next year with the new chassis and balance it better.
