I'm alive!! - Just about.

Currently chillin' in Death Valley - if that's possible in 120 degrees of heat.

Povol - I'd rather you spoke your mind - that's what the forum is for. I acted like a complete ... - not for the first time that weekend, and within a nano second karma came calling and cuffed me around the head. Really - the guy had the last laugh, and I fully got what I deserved............' funny though.

Rog - thanks buddy for sending me the text when I was in LA.

Barry - when we were driving north to the circuit and Jum read me your initial post we roared with laughter -gold!!!

I have limited time on this damn PC, so I'll grit my teeth and pretend that it's my Mac. I'll regale you with more of our exploits when I return to the UK next week.

Let me tell you all something - all those guys are the real deal. As we headed away inland from the circuit I was genuinely misty eyed. I looked around at my daughter who was practically tearful, and asked what was wrong. She simply said that it felt like we had left a close family behind...and she was spot on.

In particular: Jum, CK, Chris, Ivan, G Money, Gidell, Danny, Long Rider, Gator, Terry, Jen and Jamie, Shovel, Lorenzo Fan, and everyone else who helped make this one of the most memorable weekends of our lives - God bless you all.

Mark and Ros - Arrabi &'lil Arrabi (Denali)

Good to Hear from you two! Enjoy the Desert! I haven't been able to post a good story or picture because i've been getting killed at work I haven't gotten more than 4 hours of sleep since i came back from the track! 2am to 6pm every day and tomorrow i have to be up at 1am. Ill try and sneak in some stuff on saturday.

Gatorduc: Give all the Nurses my phone number!!!!and turn the picture into a poster to hang in your bedroom, I will autograph it next time I see you!

I too Felt sad when the weekend was over, It felt so natural to care for all these people as if they were my family, that i did not want to see them go, and im usually an ....... to strangers. Arrabi and little Arrabi don't worry some of us are already making plans to Head over to the UK next year if all goes well we wont have to wait too long to hang out again. Goodnight my friends every time i read this thread it fills me with joy and energy. but now my 5 hours of sleep are turning into 4 and in order to Party hard I have to Work hard!

Because I'm at work and currently not posting more pics, I feel it's a perfect time to testify to the quality people we met on this trip. Jaime (Mrs.Gator) and I were discussing why it is that the people we've met from this forum are so genuinely dynamic, trustworthy, and generous. I theorized that it's really the love of motorcycles (and the spiritual aspect of riding) that draws such wonderul people together, but perhaps it's something more. I don't have to figure it out, it's just a rhetorical thought to entertain myself with. Everyone that reads these posts might be saying somewhat cynically "well that's what happens when people meet for the first time, like on a reality show". NO WAY. This is not that emotion. I promise you, and encourage you all to try to make a trip out to meet some of these powersliders. It will only enrich you and restore your faith in the goodness of other people (which is in short supply in everyday life). Jumkie and CaliKid are obvious catalysts for this feeling. They're special in that way. Their love of this sport cannot be overstated but they also love to entertain and it's infectious. They bend over backwards to ensure that everyone is having a good time. I've got stories to back it up. Just look at the setup they provided for everyone at the track (a projector screen, crazy good carne asada, all the liquor you can drink, other means of mind numbing if you need that too). Of course around them gravitates a similiar kind of people and that is a recipe for real enjoyment with others. All mixed in with this is the celebration of this motorsport. Reading Arrabi's post (Mark, you write so well I'm envious) made me emotional as well and I felt compelled to write this little testimony. Not to join in on a "mutual pole-smoking fest", rather to validate all these testimonies above (and to encourage others to make it out if possible). Again, Thanks to all involved in this phenomenal weekend. I should mention everyone individually, but then I'll feel ...... if I forget someone.

What up guys.. i must shine in on this pic... from what i recall in between the first and last drink, CK " these undies r sooo comfortabel, you guys gotta get some" and so he almost convinced me and everyone else that these would being Jorge luck... well needless to say, CK spoke true words...

Some Spies shots for those fans of Ben's Pies, I'm not a fan-boy, just liked the way he was relaxing on the bike after the race (and the colors make for cool pics).

More to come, I promise......(thanks for the appreciative posts and for being patient).

Can Pies put any more Tex flags on his bike? Geez. Speaking of Tex, im still here, no internet access, so im not about to attempt a funny ... story on iphone. Speaking of funny stories, LorenzoFan has a great one. I texted him last nite to check out the thread. Lorenzo's garage asked him to take a pic with them not other way around...enuf said. I'll let him tell it.

Fuuuudge... it's 4 in the morning in Show Low Arizona, and I'm making time to read this amazing thread!!!

Gawd, it's like reliving it!! and loving every second AGAIN!!!

Personally Chopperman and L8braker, I'd pay 800$ for two of those girls from Tissot.. for an hour. But that's just me lol

Not that alcohol is an excuse, Povol, but Arrabiata was loaded, lol... Really he was a really truly nice guy, but alcohol stuns our inhibitors so the first thing that popped in his head plopped out his mouth... no biggie.

It gives me a warm chubby hearing the other side of how people felt about me loaning out the beamer.. that bike is my baby, and my means of transport for this unforgettable trip of a lifetime.. and my lover.. and now.. she is a whorelette I am proud to share with others, LOL

wowzers.. If I hadn't sobered up since I started reading this, I mighta got teary-eyed Jumkie at your epiphony about the good in man.. I'm glad to be a part. That is definitely one of the major learning factors of this trip; "there are good people"... that movie with Kevin Spacey and the always lovely Helen Hunt, "Pay it Forward" comes to mind. Anytime someone won't let me pay them back for their generosity on this trip (and I've had so many blessings), I pay it forward. And it is a lovely feeling.

Jumkie, just flip them inside out and backwards and they're good for 4 days. The Hayden Underwear I mean. And man, that guy needs to sell sexier underwear. The Jorge Lorenzo undies have gotten me laid twice already. Fo' real.

Sweet pics, shovelhead!

Povol, he makes the comment, taxi slams on accelorator, frame of door clips arrabiata.. end of story.

cops are trained to be political and use any excuse that sounds legit. "the neighbors complaining" was probably made up and could pertain to any neighbor. That pissed me off, the idea that everyone's camping on a weekend meant to have the time of their lives and then we're being told not to... although I was high as a muthafucka!!! And eating bowl after bowl of cinnamon toast crunch! lol, thanks to the guys who brought that fine sticky-icky-icky!! OO-whee!!!

Oh i don't know if this is as epic as 'Rog and Jumkies..." Frosty.. but it sure feels good.

wow, fiat hospitality, great pics, awesome access you had.. although everyone looking at you in pics has this expression like "what the .... is this guy doing, and who let him back here?" lol, but that makes it even better heheh

Stellar pics, gatorduc.. I'm putting the one of me in the plaid hat as my FB profile... Wow, amateur or not, gator.. these pics of the riders leaning are awe-inspiring...

Poor dani pedrosa.. i know it's part of the sport to go down when on a hair of where you can push yourself and the bike, but he seemed like a pretty decent fellow in the repsol tent, and even though I'm routing for team ducati en toto, I felt bad for him. Ah well.

Chrisflyhigh, welcome to the forum, sorry i didn't help you pick up "the twin".. dammit.. had I only known.. That girl in the red shirt was ready ta go!

Welcome buritoboy, i'm pretty sure you are who i think you are so it was really good partying with ya! nice pic.. now I don't have to post the other one that I had lol

I can attest to gatorduc's statement of jumkie and calikid's efforts, the cooking, even the setting up of the flags on the motorhome and the projector had to be just right, and i was deeply impressed!

K, it's now 5 am.. time for 4 hours shut eye before I get up and head south to Silver City NM...
