How did everone on PS miss that contest to get their image on the M1. I'm thinking we could have had a whole PS section had we known.

…and now for one of the better stories of Laguna.
-Casey, can you please sign my hat?
As you can see from the pic above that CaliKid posted, the gang was walking into the paddock, you can see the orange Repsol hats in our hands and the excitement from the autograph signing we just came from. So we start making our way toward the GP garages when we notice long line at the Oakley tent. So we ask, ‘hey, why is everybody in line?’ Reply; “Casey Stoner is going to be signing autographs!” Coool. So we all get in line. GatorDuc back on duty taking pictures for everybody (which unfortunately cost him his own autograph because by the time he got in line, they shut it down.) So we are all in line waiting, and one by one we get our ticket, shirt, etc signed. Then its my turn…I take my hat off my head, the one I just had Dani Pedrosa sign saying “Te Amo!!!” and ask Casey for his sharpie out of his hand. (Now keep in mind, this whole time, his handlers are rushing people along. Infact they didn’t want anybody clogging up the line by taking pics and getting more than one thing signed, etc). Notwithstanding, I would have nobody rush me as I was determined to get my hat signed properly, haha. Anyway, so when I ask Casey for his sharpie, his face kinda went into a confused look, like, why the hell is this guy asking me for the sharpie if I’m the one signing autographs.
So I start making a circle around Dani’s name and then I put a big slash across. Then I start to write “CASEY” above ‘Dani’ and the giggles begin… (I meant to write “I LOVE YOU” in English too, but I think with the laughing and him looking straight into the hat, he obviously knew what “Te Amo” meant.) So I get done with the circle and slash, and writing his name on the hat… “-Casey, can you please sign my hat?” Stoner starts busting up laughing! “[laughing] Sure mate [laughing]” (I think is what I heard). Others saw what I was up to and they start cracking up. Gator, on duty, captures the moment. People around me start telling me, ‘yo that’s some funny .... man’, my buddy Terry is cracking up laughing in the backgroud… And Casey, ah well just look at him, he goes from smile to a genuine open laughter!! ( I hope all the riders know they are appreciated, and despite our allegiances, we love them all!)
I take Casey's sharpie and start crossing out Dani then write his name "CASEY"

im sure he always have fans get close to him
It's impossible for Rossi to please all his fans. Whenever you go to a race, vale's pit box is always mobbed and almost everyone has something for him to sign and that's just here in america where only a small percentage of the population likes moto gp. In Italy and Spain it must be worse!

Moto gp may be about the fans, but the racers are what makes it! This year started off really well with Lorenzo and Rossi fighting it out, but it got a litlle boring when Rossi broke his leg and no one was there to give Lorenzo competition! Hopefully we see some more good races in the 2nd half
