8 to go and now the championship heads to the land of the fat...errr....free.
Rostrum picks.

Hayden
Pedrosa
Rossi

Great to see almost everyone thinks Nicky can do it
<

I also think he's a contender for next week's victory!!
He usually is really strong over there, he won his maiden MotoGP win there. I'm sure he's really eager to win in his own country. He finished on the podium this weekend, last time, so maybe again next week???

I'm hoping for a Rossi win (I know, that's really shocking, coming from a Valentino fan)

I just hope Rossi can decrease the gap in the championship, so I'm going for:

Rossi
Hayden
Pedrosa

From Julian Ryder

"Vale's other problem is a continuing tendency for the Yamaha to run hot, especially when following other bikes. To prove Vale's worries are not illusory, Sylvain Guintoli's Yamaha seized on him while he was in a group dice. Could be tricky at Laguna - remember last year?"

Didn't realise this was still a problem.

When has it been a problem this year. Today was just a mistake by Rossi which he has admitted and earlier season problems largely due to michelin tyres rather than cooling problems in the bike.

I think the tech 3 both had a problem with the dunlop tyre not being able to withstand the heat today.

It was a problem on 990 but with new chassis for 800 would think it has been sorted.

Anyway, predictions:

Hayden and Honda is getting back to form and always goes well at Laguna, Pedrosa and CV were strong there last year also.

Hayden
Rossi
Pedrosa

1. Bayliss
2. Biaggi
3. Doohan

Yeah, ALL of my predictions have been wrong so far, so I'll make one that is maybe remotely right.

1. Pedrosa
2. Stoner
3. Hayden

This is the place Nicky usually can do it, i like the dude hes hard working and i will be cheering him on if hes upfront.

Everyone that's predicting Hayden....is that Roger Lee or Nicky? Yea I know you mean Nicky. I would like to see Nicky win but if Rossi can get his bike sorted he will be a strong contender for the win as he has come to grips with Laguna. I'm sure Nicky will be strong if he doesn't have any issues with his bike. Look for Chris the V to do well right out of the gate and another strong showing for Edwards. My question to everyone, who will be the highest placed wild card rider? I'm going to go with the youngest Hayden as the Kawi was looking pretty good at the ring this weekend? Yea, everyone saw that coming as I am a Hayden fan.

Its a problem

Yamaha rider Valentino Rossi struggled with rising water temperatures before falling on lap six while trying desperately to get into clear air.

Team boss Davide Brivio said Yamaha were aware of the temperature issue.

"Overheating is a problem we know we need to work on," Brivio told Italia1 television.

"Our engineers know about it, so we hope to find some solutions. We have some ideas on how to solve it, so we hope to be able to implement them.

The heat thing shouldn't be a problem. It is actually going to be cool for once at Laguna!

(Nicky) Hayden for the win.
Edwards for second.
Pedro for third.

I think Duhamel is going to beat Roger Lee. Just a gut feeling. I'd like for RLH to prove me wrong though!
