Laguna Practice and qualifying

If Stoner loses the championship by a small margin, everybody will blame Pedrosa.

It sounds stupid, but team orders could play a role in this year's championship.

If Stoner loses the title it is Stoner's fault - the first guy you need to beat is your teammate. There are generally no team orders in MotoGP - as it should be.

Just tweeted

"Lorenzo now walking unaided but he must be badly shaken after what was a vicious high-side"

"Lorenzo is now in a car being driven back to paddock"

Replays just showed Lorenzo had stopped to do a practice start and he high-sided at the next corner

Who didnt see that one coming. I cant be sad or have remorse for someone who has the world by the balls and chooses this way of life.

crash is reporting that he has been cleared to continue, but it looked nasty. I hope he can still ride hard, another 3 way battle at the front is what we need.

Apparently TC was disengaged for the practice start and the bike threw him off, end of.

More likely she was mentally ill or had some kind of perverse psychosis, and she wanted to be immortalized in the 27 club

FP3 times turned in by the top 3 look to be fairly representative of potential race pace.

Lorenzo ran one of his typically consistent long series, all at 21.9x.

Pedrosa's laps were a little less predictable, but still look good.

Stoner's last 3 stints never quite equaled his first (where he set his fast lap), but I suspect they were still chasing a setup improvement. I'm not too worried about his speed.

Hairball's not so steady, but does seem capable of low 22s.

Ben's fast lap came at the end of a 13 lap run. If the team can find just another tenth or two he'll be able to keep the 3 aliens in sight. I think he'll comfortably beat The Sasquatch.

Dovi did a lot of 23.x garbage, finding time only at the end of the session. (Soft tire?) Barring an improvement, he'll be hard pressed to beat Haystack.

Yikes, another Laguna Moon Shot for Jorge.
