very true but it became obvious at catalunya that the duc was in a class of it's own

It turned out to be a big race, as it also became apparent that Stoner was in a class of his own. There was no looking back after that

i only saw some parts...

still, without stoner rossi would win, and the next ducati would be... capirossi! and he got! 6th? thats not overpowered...

i would say its the bike when only a bike of one brand is dominating, and more than one rider is dominating on the bike...

when stoner and capirex were owning the playfield it would be the bike, but loris, who is a great rider, got 'only' 7th in the WC on the superduper overpowered bike... with 1 fictory
he got 3th in 2006 when ducati wasnt that 'superior', and he won 3 times...

guess you didn't read Barros's interview about ducati throwing all there resources at one bike. Barros didn't even have a suspension technician. im not taking away from the wonders stoner has done on that bike but that's not forget different riders get different levels of support and different parts at different time's. we all know it happened at HRC too.

yeah now making that statement just think of the kinda support Valentino must get compared to anyone on the grid.

very true, and i think that will really show this season with lots of teams making cut backs. will rossi's team make cut backs ? i dont think so this year. next year could be a different story.

How much more of a cut back from the RC211V to the M1 does he need to have to shut these ....... up Rogy?

It amazes me Rog that folks believe that all things are equal in a factory team. It's been like that for years, Sheene was famous for his factory insiders that got him the best stuff before anyone else. Niall Mackenzie being told to hold position and not to race Schwantz on the Suzuki, then being fired for not winning. Who remembers Roberts face when Cadalora passed Rainey for the win at Donny 93? He was told he was out at the end of the season for disobeying team orders, because Rainey was racing Schwantz for the title, and with Schwantz out on lap one, it was a chance for a big points cushion. Cadalora however, kept his ride after Waynes tragic accident.

When a title is on the line, a team will have a number one rider, and thats the way it is.

Good to see you actually got off your arse and looked, as some have suggested it was a time of some "real mythical stories" going round, sadly Rog. still lives and believes all of them

By speculation from the Rossifans yes he did ...... Ducati, nor there riders, said nothing

So then we get more:

I've always liked Barros. You can just tell the oldman always give everything he has whenever he hops on a bike..... very exciting rider. Way more worthy of a ride than half of the riders on the current MotoGP grid, even at his current age.
