It would seem that despite the best efforts of the other manufacturers Kawasaki are again the dominant motorcycle in WSB. It could also be that Rea is one of,if not the best rider in the history of WSB.

Rea now has over 100 WSBK wins and 6 championships on the trot. Pretty sure that makes him the rider with the most wins/championships in the series. It's a shame he never got an offer to ride a competitive bike in MotoGP. I think he took 2 top 10 finishes on the Repsol Honda as a replacement for Stoner in 2012? I think it was 2012.

You are correct mate. I am sure he would have done well had he been given good machinery in MotoGP. Honda saw his potential and wanted him to stay is WSB to lead their effort in that championship owing to the great results he was getting on a non competitive Fireblade. Big mistake. Kawasaki made him an offer he could not refuse and a bike that was already a championship winning machine and the rst as they say is history. As a Kawasaki aficionado I could not be happier.

My 2005 ZX-6R (636) will always be my favorite. What a sweet ride.

I had a ZX6R for a while while I was looking for the ZZR 1100. It is a great machine. I have to admit my last 9 machines have been Kawasaki's. There is just something about them. Let The Good Times Roll :D
