Jorge can afford a pay cut......

.... you Jorge, you rich ............. haha!

Its a matter of principle. You have an employee who is either the best or second best in the world at what he does for 5 straight years. He has 6 bad weeks and you are asking him to take a pay cut, Personally, if were him, i would tell them to get ...... and take Ducati's 12-15 million.

May I also add 6 weeks caused mostly by off season surgery and recovery from the excellent championship run he made for them last year while being a patched up rider. He rode the wheels off that M1 risking his life and racing injured trying to hand Yamaha the WC. That kind of dedicaition warrants a pay increase. If they even mentioned a pay cut at Yamaha he should walk straight to Ducati and ask where's the papers. The Duc has power and Gigi is no dummy.

2013 means nothing now....Yamaha has young riders coming, so if JLo wants more then he has to deliver more...

Keep in mind Rossi probably had to take a pay cut to come back to Yamaha.....and Rossi bring money with him where as JLo isnt a bik sponsor magnet....

so if he isnt 2nd or close to 1st in the title fight then Yamaha is in the better negotiating position then JLo is....

Again you are only as good as your last Race when you are not leading the title or winning all races.....

Now I really do wish I put more effort into learning how to ride properly when I was young instead of drinking piss and smoking weed!!, good on ya Jorge, very nice pad!

Jorge's problem is not only his lack of results, but the lack of a competitive alternative ride. He won't be as stupid as Rossi or Crutchlow and drown at Ducati. Honda will keep Dani, and Suzuki look way off the pace. He almost has to stay at Yamaha. His horrible season so far is not playing into his hands, either.

He could stick 25 to 30 million in his account the next 2 years and see what the landscape looked like then when everyones contracts were up again 2016. Who knows what GP will look like with Michelin tires, 17 in rims and a spec ECU. Rossi and Pedrosa will more than likely be ready to retire after getting pummeled for 2 more years, and whoever they sit in Jorges seat will more than likely be under the heat lamp by that time. There could be all kinds of seats just begging Lorenzo to come sit in. Who knows, maybe even the Duc will have come good by that time
