Well as the title states, how does everyone reckon Hopper gets along at Jerez?

I honestly don't think he will finish last, but lots has changed since he was last on a MotoGP bike going 10/10th's.

If he does well, you think this opens doors for him to come back into the series?

In front of Elias & Abraham. Assuming he plays it smart and doesn't crash. But I'm betting he will push it to try and impress somebody. He's hoping its a GP interview. I'm happy he's back and I think he will be ok. Lets see.

It will be too hard for him.

Looking at the times set by Abraham in Quatar and testing I don't think Hopkins will beat him.I think Abraham did a very impressive first race with a new team, bike, tires. Also, was it Checa who did a race last year and had big problems adjusting?

He will only beat Elias I think.

Hey dude, your Qatar recap was rather brief, I was hoping to see more umbrella girl action. WTF

Brolly Dollys were limited due to Muslim restrictions of Qatar.....LOL....

Recap? The crowd is sprace...you can only, only, view track from main straight. No wandering about track to get to any corners. No beer available in grandstands....only soda and pizza hut....LOL....

Otherwise, it was fabulous.....

he'll beat his team mate
<

I agree with Jumkie.

He will beat Elias & Abraham. Maybe Crutchlow if he is still struggling with injury because I don't think he has ever ridden here before..

The suzuki is no world beater & Hopper hasn't been on a Motogp bike in ages, but the bike probably turns in better than the Ducati at the moment.

^^^^this

The whitest teeth on the grid is back!

He'll prolly have a chance against Elias. Very much doubt he can match Abraham, heck Bautista had a hard time being faster than Abraham in practice.

funny how abraham on the ducati is lightyears ahead of elias on a honda
<

hopkins is a good rider who is ready to push it more often than necessary,he should be exciting to watch ,lets just hope he doesnt hurt himself again

i can't predict how good he'll do at jerez but after that i can't imagine hopkins coming in last place

I was pretty happy with Hoppers ride this weekend. He was much closer than I thought he would be in qualifying. He made me nervous on lap one though, I had visions of him taking a few people out when he was midpack at the first turn. That wrist injury he had been dealing with sounded like it might be a career killer. I hope he does well in BSB but I wish Suzuki could find a way to keep him in GP for next couple races.

it will be a big learning curve for him on the UK Tracks

i am curious what would a top rider like Stoner or Lorenzo be able to do on a Suzuki. i have a nasty feeling the bike is much better than most people think.
