People who describe others as "rubbish" are usually pretty trashy themselves. I bet you've never ridden a bike round a racertrack within 30 seconds of Jeremy-Mac's speed. Credit where it is due - you are very successful in initiating emotive response - but obviously don't know much about racing - same number of wins as Slow-Hand-Nicky says a lot for itself

FACTS DION FACTS.
you say your not out to get emotive responses, yet you continue to make fleating remarks without providing a single fact.
other posters have provided you with facts to counter your remarks yet you still ignore these facts and make only childish opinions.
well im going to go on your level for a second and be a little childish .
you say you can ride yet on another thread you tell us you crashed you moped oh sorry i mean motorbike.
i think you are the type of bloke who judges a rider solely on his last race
rather than his career as a whole.
if you want respect from people like me then back up your opinions with FACTS. save the mindless .... for the playground

Thanks Roger

Says it all, if you can back up what your saying, then nobody is going to shoot you down, but you just wont admit that you are spoutin through a hole in your arse and wont admit your wrong Dion.

If McWilliams is so .... then why does he have a good track record? we are all still waitin for your magic "proof".

Theres plenty guys on here who have been followin GP racing for years, and we all are sayin that McWilliams has had a bloody good if not earth shattering career.

Back it up please, cause, I just think your making yourself look like a daft wee boy.

Pete, are you giving props to Nicky? What the hell, stop doing that your gonna interfere with the universal balance. Its bad enough that NASA’s telescopes caught a black hole swallowing up a star, now you’re acknowledging Nicky being a winner? The Apocalypse is upon us.

Hey ptk50, you’re a real voice of maturity and a veneration of courtesy; you chastise Dion for calling McWilliam’s performance “rubbish”, but then in the very next sentence you make an elementary-school-caliber contemptuous description of the MotopGP World Champion’s performance (who by the way beat your beloved Rossi). You try to call out Dion to see how fast he is on the track? What the hell is that about? How fast are you? Where are your facts to back up your opinion? Since you seem to think how fast a guy is around a track gives him some credibility to talk crap about other riders like you did about Hayden.

I think I’ll steal your “brilliant” retort and say: “people who describe others as ‘slow-hand’ are usually pretty slow-minded themselves.

Since you are such a beacon of courtesy, perhaps you should take up a new profession as an etiquette coach.

It seems you and your bottom dweller friends posting here giving Dion a hard time are the ones looking for “emotive response”, so here it is. Enjoy.

Hi buddy,

Oh, how cute, your gonna act childish. Umh, let me know when you decide to act mature like you have on all your previous posts next to never.

By the way Roger, you posted some stats on this guy (your facts as you call them); was that suppose to prove that that this McWilliams guy is “good” as you say (or like basspete called it, “earth shattering”)? It looks to me like those stats are more a credit to mediocrity than to make a case for a great racer. An you go on calling out for facts and sighting others for giving Dion facts, but who else has given “facts”? Count them, look back on this thread and ask yourself who has given “facts” to back up their claim that McWilliams is great. Oh, skidmark said he put the bike on pole once, that’s nice. One pole a great career does not make. What else do you and the other guys got by way of “facts’ to counter Dion’s opinion. Most of what I’ve seen here is opinion by the other guys saying he rode a bad bike; yeah? Why?

So let me quote basspete: “back it up please.”

BTW: We’re still friends right?

Alex, give me a break. You’re the guy who didn’t believe Hayden had an injury after Portugal and along with others suggested he was making it up for hype after Capirex posted a link. Just about every post I’ve seen from you is unarguable; because frankly people living in imaginary worlds don’t exist.

I think I saw somebody with a quote somewhere on this forum that said: “Don’t argue with idiots….” Well you are right Alex; it’s not worth arguing with….

well jumkie my mate, if you read the thread you will see i said "jezzer really did shne on a 2 stroke"
and a point of fact, dion said "mcwilliams is rubbish" not his performance is rubbish, you can twist what people post but the truth is you and dion are still factless.
nice post locks

Let's keep this in perspective, Jeremy is the development rider for Ilmor he has experience of 500s and 250s which the new 800 bikes have been likened too. He's not out to win the world championship hence none of the big teams want him. But his experience and professionalism are just what a fledgling team/manufacturer are looking for hence his place on the grid.
Maybe if he's not good enough he won't even qualify although I can't see that happening.

C`mon kids, you really need to see how Jezza does AFTER the end of the 07 season, only then will you be able to judge him!

Yeah I think it's time to move on, the bottom line is that nobody wants to hear riders being dismissed as crap. It's an opinion, fair enough, we are all entitled to them. But, when people challange it with a credible arguement, I dont think thats the time to start throwing insults back at them. Theres a lot of folks in here who know their stuff, and will hit back with a knowledgable answer. And then of course theres Jumkie.
<

To be quite honest, I never particularly followed McWilliams myself, and he has never been one of my favourite riders. But, respect where its due, he can ride a motorbike bloody well and has proven it plenty in the past.

Anyway gotta go now and do a few Hail Vales at the local church of Yamaha, If I keep up defending other riders and agreeing with jumkie, I might be stripped of my yellow sun and moon cloak, and forced to sell my XT600, cant take any chances.

I'm gonna send you my cleaning bill, you made me laugh so hard I crapped my pants. Damn Pete, you're really making it difficult to dislike you.

Hey did you notice how roger sounded all defensive and lame; I guess its because he saw the error of his ways. Dion 1 Roger 0.

more mindless statements with no facts just to get emotive responses.
thought you had changed but i suppose you cant teach an old dog new tricks

at least some of us back up our "opinions" as you rightly credited me for.^^
yet i still wait to see dions facts, and have the tedious job of reading your 8000 word factless dribble.
oh well thank goodness theres the likes of locks and petes posts to read, full of interesting facts.
<

thats re-cap below are some of your "opinions"

BTW: I agree with you, McWilliams is crap (actually, I don’t know much about him, but if agreeing with you pisses off roger, then I’m with you).

here you admit you have not got a clue who mcwilliams is ,in a rounderbout sort of way
<

I don’t think you gave your opinion to simply get a reaction, I think it was just your opinion. Which is fine. That’s what we are here for; but, give me some more reasons to dislike this McWilliams guy. Why is he crap? (besides him being old, even though old and ugly guys like roger do suck).

and here you ask dion to provide you facts to back your posts and give you some ammo against me.
funny thing is niether he or you came up with anything.
so dion 1 roger nil.....ummm dont think so
