Does anyone else think Mr McWilliams is a terrible rider ?
I mean why would anyone want him as a test rider or full time rider ?
The man is 42 ! The man is rubbish.
Oh you say he is experienced ! Whats he ever done.
He did well in his big return to BSB. WoW !!! Look out heres the GP Superstar.
He has no place in the MotoGP Paddock.

i think jezzer is a great rider.
he really did shine on a 2 stroke imo. he did invaluable work for team kr and i think any new team starting out could do a lot worst that jezzer for a development rider.
42 is not old, age has nothing to do with it what so ever, true it may take longer to recover from injury, but its about attitude and technique NOT age.
im 39 and a lot fitter and more supple than a lot of teenagers. in my experence i learned NOT to under estermate the older guys.

Apart from beating Melandri, Kato and god knows who else at Assen he did nothing.........apart from a few damn good seasons on a 500. The guy has only won 2 less GP than Hayden. Please know what your talking about, it only makes you look bad if you dont....

Gotta love the troll posters, don't ya? Post anything to get a reaction.

I admire Jezza and think he's going to be the perfect development rider for the Ilmor team. Obviously he won't win anything but don't you think Mario knows his team won't win the manufacturers title this year? So why employ (or try to) one of the top guys when the bike is completely new as is the team building it?
Good on them I say, they'll just want to be reliable and somewhere near the race pace. That'll do for their first year.

Wow, The femur is a bloody big bone to break, and they are talking of Jezzer training in January already.

yup, just goes to show what a tough determined man he is.

realize this..
Jeremy didn't start racing till he was in his mid to late 20's... compared to the majority that started at 3... he's a good ryder but has never really had a "good" bike..

anyhow 42 ain't ...., Duhamel here in the states is one of the fastest and craziest guys out there...and he's 87.

Firstly (Know what your talking about., it only makes you look bad if you dont ?) Why cause i dont rate McWilliams?
Troy Bayliss didnt start racing till he was 24. Hes whipp more ... than McWilliams. I very sorry but i dont rate him!
He needs to stand aside and let some youth has a chance. Rossi developed the RCV, when he was what 22? Oh yes 22 not 42.
McWilliams is to arrogant. him and foggy are brothers.

^^well dion,i wonder what gezzer would have done had he had top rides like bayliss. so you dont remember in 2002 he was beating half the 990s on a privateer 2 stroke.
you say he is arrogant ,please give examples of this and explain to me why you think 22 is better than 42 when developing a race bike.
if you are unable to do this then its you that is arrogant.
i would put money on it that
you are probably under 20 years old and think you no better than anybody else....right
<
even tho they have more experence
now stop playing with your dads computer and get on with your homework

You obviously didnt read my post Dion, there are a few reasons there and in Rogers post why McWilliams isnt crap.

Bye the way Roger, well put!

I think Jezza is actually a very good rider and has done some very impressive things with bikes that are by no means the best. I think his age is a disadvantage when it comes to healing injuries. But its an advantage when it comes to developing a bike, because a young rider is gonna be trying to improve his skills and win every race and crash as a result (de puniet/stoner). But i would prefer to see some fresh blood in motogp. But there are not many moto gp quality riders out there right now, and Jezzas been in the paddock for a good few years so he knows what hes doing.

Well Roger how do you think McWilliams did in BSB on the Stobart honda?
I dont want to hear any ........ excuse Roger !
I must dash, have my milk to drink before bed.

Oh yes BSB being the series he could not wait to get back to and kick all there asres !

I don't think it's worth arguing or discussing something stupid like this with such a person.

i dont .........
firstly you did not answer my questions so i will take that as an admission of you arrogance.
i dont follow bsb so im unable to comment on the season but

round 1 brands. 7th race 1
round 2 thruxton 9th race 2
round 5 mondello park. 9th race 1...10th race 2
round 12 brands 9th race 1.
cant find results for knockhill or any info on any other races but as your so knowledgeable on the subject im sure you can provide the stats and facts.
imo top 10 finishes are no mean feats.

I thought I knew about bike sport, but I have no idea how anyone could kick peoples asres, if McWilliams didnt, its probably because he didnt know what it meant,

What is an asres?

Pete
