Brivio comments on the line-up and says it's Yamaha's choice NOT Rossi's!

it should be interesting, may be this is what Val needs!!! its also official that Jorge is fast on the m1...well see???

Another thing that's really gonna test out Rossi - he doesn't seem to be having the best of it lately. Hopefully it will fire him up for next year, especially if Lorenzo is quick!

Good stuff. Rossi may finally have a team mate capable of beating him. Something had to change in the factory garage.

I notice you left Beattie of your favourite rider list! I'm somewhat surprised ... a mere oversight perhaps?! What about the go-show? Before he got fat and full of himself he was great to watch!
<

This has absolutely nothing to do with the topic but given I started the thread I'm taking a bit of liberty to ab lib!

Hi Krusty, I thought that I was running out of space!!!
<

But no, I simply forgot Darryl... which is bizarre as I have a replica Shoei helmet of his!

As for the go-show, well he was an amazing rider on his day but "his ego was writing cheques that his body couldn't cash" - (TopGun).

If he had performed as well as he talked it up, then he might have won that 3 championships in a row that he said he wanted to win.

Sorry but I have zero respect for someone that has that much natural talent only to piss it all away on recreational drugs! As if riding a 500 wouldn't be enough of a natural high?? Well it would for me anyway...

There you go ...I did think that you may have left Daryl of your list!

Fair call about Gobert ... definitely a waste of real talent!

CSCVAW mate... Krusty was referring to my fav rider list which I have already updated to include Darryl. He had no reason to mention the Horsham Hurricane as I already had him in there.

Hope that clears it up for you.

Cheers, M

Back on topic...

Yeah this could prove to be good for Rossi, its one thing being beaten by Stoner, but by a class rookie on the same bike? Then he has nothing to blame. He'll be trying his hardest next year, thats for sure.

i dont know if its that good.. the yam is still a piece of .... unless there is some drastic change when they try out the new engine or mabey during the break at the end of season to next, if they cant get their .... sorted out, it could .... up the season for both of 'em

and your crazy if you think vale is not trying his hardest this season

Thing is, Lorenzo has an ego the size of Australia, add that to Rossi's undoubetd huge ego crammed into the same garage, it'll be a hoot. Factor in Lorenzo performing very well in his first season, which on paper seems likely, and you've got the recipe for a great rivalry. Wether it spills onto the podium depends on how much Yamaha and Michelin get their .... together for next year. For sure Rossi is trying harder than ever this year and he'll have to next year too. It's a dumb thing to think for one second that any of these guys don't try their hardest every second of every race weekend. Lorenzo will be out to prove a point also. The young pup itching to have a go at the old dog. Lorenzo will be hungry as hell for sure. Rossi might have plenty to whinge about next year

There's too many good people behind the scenes for Yamaha not to be competitive next season.. and I didn't say that, I meant he'll be pushing to the absolute limit to beat Lorenzo, I didn't say he isn't trying this year.

Next season just keeps getting more interesting.

Melandri on the duke, Toseland and Edwards on factory-spec Yams, Rossi and Lorenzo in the same garage?! Wow. It's gonna be something to watch, for sure.

We could be facing a big problem with the live coverage though...

Which rider will the cameras pan to for the after-race theatrics?
<

I dunno for sure if Rossi whinged about this, but Rossi is an employee getting paid a .... load of cash so he should have nothing to say.
