Great ride Nicky, would've loved to see you win but 2nd place is good enough. Nice to see Lorenzo back on form.

Great first outing for Dani on Bridgestones

I actually think stoner may be starting to show common sense. He can't win the world championship, and riding as close to the edge as he usually does in the rain with a dysfunctional scaphoid would not have been very smart. This year has shown that he does not have rossi's racecraft ; it remains to be seen whether he is smart enough to learn from rossi and develop his racecraft or indeed whether his scaphoid problem is temporary or permanent but he remains fast and with luck closer to what he had in 2007 next year may still present problems for your boy.

Hey, I want this one on a DVD too if you don't mind. I'm getting reports that the US coverage was not that good, and so I want to compare it with what you Brits get.

Anyway, I will post more about my thoughts on the race when I get home.

I watched the 125's on Eurosport through a torrent site live, and compared to the NBC/CBS crap, I loved Eurosport. They did off topic in the race though.

They often go way off topic in the 125 and sometimes 250 if there isn't too much happeneing, but it's part of the charm. They have an awfull lot of gossip and opinions to report

Well at least everyone is getting some bloody rain, Bejing, Italy, Indy and little ole England has now experienced 3 good days of weather on the trot, I can't believe it.

Anyway, The race, well Nicky didn't he do well, really good to see, Rossi, well the boy wonder does wonders again. Lorenzo glad to see you back.

Spies why the feck has he not got a GP ride next year. Wet weather mastership might be the way to go if the past years weather is anything to go by.

The only dissapointing thing is this season is now pretty much all sewn up and I'm really down about that, F1 is actually almost interesting because of the close championship battle.

However, hats of to Rossi, he has effectively pulled off one of his miracles again. The move over to Brdgestones I thought was total madness but clearly was the most inspired gamble ever. I just wish it was closer but hey ho.

I'm hoping Nicky's move to Ducati will be a good one, fingers crossed he gets on with that bike but poisoned challice probably springs to mind but I hope I am as wrong as I was about Rossi.

Good stuff anyway.

XX Liz

I cant believe they actually do that cause there is nothing happening. those 2 classes are so exciting, lots happens. like in this weekend 125cc race, it was just pure bliss only to watch that tiny marquez fighting and riding different lines. and how terol quickly got closer to espergaro was top class
<

I stayed up too to see the 250cc race, those are great with simoncelli, barbera, bautista, kallio, takahasi etc. really sad they cancelled it (which was the right decision imo) you can say a lot of those 2 classes, but 'isnt much happening' is something you absolutely cannot say

I'm aware that 125 is action packed all the way, so "little happening" was ment in a very relative way. They can't scream up every time someone crash out or pass, that would keep them screaming all the race
<
I like to watch the 125 race but don't mind some wandering off topic now and then in the smaller clases. It doesn't have the same "importance" to me, allthough the spectacle is very good.

It was refreshing to hear Hayden actually take some credit for being a GP World Champ. When asked about the weather, he acknowledged the difficult conditions and noted that having 3 MotoGP World Champs in the top four was a testament to their respective skills.

He (usually) seems apologetic when discussing his title.

He needs to stop freakn crying during interviews and remind everyone that he's the guy that broke Rossi's streak.

yeah I hear what you're saying. for me its slightly different. if the racing is good, there is no need to wander off topic. yes back ground info about bike/team/rider history is always interesting to hear, but talking about that while they're battling for top positions is weird. same goes for those shots of pit lane crews. I love to see their reactions, but I dont have any interests in seeing first Burgess, then the Bridgestone dude, and then Uccio react on rossi passing hayden. in that time, almost half the lap goes by.

got to say, I have lots of respect for the commentators for the motogp races too. sometimes the battling is so minimum there is nothing to say about the actuall race. if Im completely honest with everyone here, I prefer 125cc, 250cc, wsbk and supersport over motogp sometimes. those parades can get really boring, it was really good to see an interesting race again in indy.

Yeah, that's a really popular position---playing yourself up by reminding everyone you beat Rossi. It would certainly help his appeal and his endorsement deals.

I said nothing about "playing yourself up" which indicates dishonesty or bragging.
