Exactly, why put him out there if he is just going to ferry ride it. Save some money and face and put him down.

OK let me just put an end to this hayden conspiracy, First off I refuse to post on the forum bc is full of a bunch of ignorant ........ but i was in indy first hand and within minutes of them calling the race, the conditions went from tollerable to an absolute handful to even hold on to your bleacher seat, i mean i went to take a piss abut 2 mins before they called the race and people were holding on for dear life just to get to the pisser. these guys were riding in the WORST conditions ever for motogp race for .... sake there were 60 mph gust with steady 40 mph winds throughout the whole race. You ..... are lucky you got to see these guys ride at all today. Do a little research before you make ignorant comments like this

.... i never thought i would get so personally pissed at how ignorant ppl can be when the are thousands of miles away from the real thing but i guess thats what makes humanity such ...... up thing.....

HFan That is the worst photo you can find. You need your eyes checked.

To each their own.

Oh come on Hayden, you know you wouldn't tell her to get out of your bedroom.

And if you tell me, 'yes I would,' I'll just laugh in disbelief.

I also want to express how happy I was to see Nicky riding well today. He made me proud. Rossi really had to work to get by.

And for all the conspiracy theorists out there: a hurricane is probably a good enough excuse to call the race earlier than standard procedure normally dictates. Remember, pit stands and hospitality tents were reportedly being blown over by the wind. From the sounds of it, Dorna was lucky the race even ran at all today.

Finally, I think the fact that the 250 race was cancelled says it all about the conditions. (wait, maybe they cancelled the 250 race to cover up the fact that they shut it all down for Nicky?!

I wouldn't be so sure about that.... take a look at Hayden Fan's post on the Dovizioso vs. Pedrosa thread.

Get off your high horse and stop acting like you're someone special. Most people come here to share their enjoyment of this sport we call MotoGP, no not a sport but a 'LIFESTYLE' we call racing, in this case MotoGP. Yeah on a forum there are going to be people who come to the boards to ridicule people for their own enjoyment, but for the most part people are here because they like to discuss and debate amongst fellow MotoGP'ers.

Nice metaphor. Humanity is ...... because Powerslide.net is full of ignorant people.
Wow! Your a clever little newbie.

Maybe we don't understand because we wern't there.
Maybe because on the TV it pretty much looked like moderate rainstorm.
A moto GP race is only 45 to 50 minutes long.
You waited all day to see a race and you couldn't wait an additional 10 minutes until after the race to take a leak?
Are you 4 years old?

Reporting from Indy: Great Race. Congrats to Rossi for the win. I thought Hayden should have won, but did extremely well considering injury, Honda, and tires. Congrats to Hayden for the outstanding effort on a thankless team. Congrats to all the riders for not crashing in such horrible conditions.

The race weather was dangerous for everyone, racers & spectators. If i could post videos I took from the perspective of the stands and grounds, you would have been amazed they ran the race after the .... hit the fan. Rain was pouring but the most dangers part were the gusts of wind. When I say "gust", I'm talking about a sudden blast of wind sheer over 60mph. .... was flying on the track and could have injured a rider. After the race was called, I literally saw people being blown off their seats falling. That is no ......... For those who might be tempted to say it was called for the home town favorite, take a look at the race footage (actually don't know if they showed it on TV) but there was a moment just before the race was called were Rossi hydroplaned totally sideways; this was caused by a gust of wind combined with the weight of heavy rain coupled with heavy streaming water on the track. Had Rossi gone down in the lead, would anybody have been outraged the race wasn't called? I could here them now. Well the race was called moments after that happened. And it was the right thing to do. We don't know what may have happened. Hell, had Rossi gone down and seriously injuring himself out of the next few races, this could have potentially been a devastating impact on a almost bagged championship. Then we would have been hearing forever how race direction screwed up. I was actually hoping they could run the 7 lap shoot out after some clearing, being that this would have given Hayden another shot at a win (anything can happen). But that was not to be, but they did the right thing. Rossi got a well deserved win.

Well lots of things were said on this thread. But I will eventually reply to some of it. (BTW, Babel and Tom, you would do well hitting yourself repeatedly on the head with a brick. SuperShitya, you are funny.)

Oh, I forgot to mention, I think I heard Peders crying about wanting his Michelins back.

It is 130 am. Just got in. Been drinking all day and damn tired. 4 hours of sleep a night over a 4 day weekend has taken its toll. As I look outside my hotel window, its clear sky and a light mild breeze; ....... eh, it seems ife is in session. I'm happy both US GPs provided much needed entertainment and adventure in MotoGP this season...you're welcome.

(Or is it the beer). Anyway, anybody else agree it should be split? Come on Somedamn, get your act together and split this .....
