Come on NICKY !

no I want him to take out the pud.. then last race slide the 1 million $$$ bike into a wall or a retention pond. lets call the front 4. the 4 horsemen. rossi will whip there ..... like there rented mules

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (an4rew @ Sep 13 2008, 10:09 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Depends which way you look at it, i would think Nicky being an American is the benchmark for him and hes a little slower... so for me hes still alot to prove if hes gonna come into motogp and do what Nicky did winning the championship.

I would think that nationality has very little influence on the qualifying and race result when it's dry, even with americans. Mentality is everything when it comes to racing and the top riders are "there" all the time regardless of where they are from. Exception of course when it's home riders with much better track knowledge.

Spies did very good today and is by far the bigest surprice to me.

Spies definately has the talent. Like to see him end up in the top 5. BTW, thanks for the timing links and streaming. Awesome.

Glad Vale takes the pole. The "funniest" thing is I was expecting Stoner to takes every pole after Misano. I'm glad I was wrong! GO VALE !!

I predict Spies will be pushing very hard for a podium his MotoGP career could depend on it(although he is better than half the field), so will Hayden. I have no clue what will happen if it is wet.

Well, Nicky propably didn't talk .... when he said he was going to give his all for the rest of the races.

I thought Spies had an 'exciting' announcement to make over the weekend? Does he have a ride already or is he still looking for one?

I think Stoner has pain in his hand and that`s why he didn't push a lot.
Anyway i think it will be better for him to start behind Rossi in first lap, or a part of the

race ,maybe he can put the pressure on Rossi and make him lose the control of his bike, and in that case we can have another LC race, otherwise if he takes the first place in de start of the

race he has to push and push and he can lose it again.

What a nice on board with Vale, unfortunatly it wasn't the pole lap.

Nicky will give it 100% the rest of the year - that seems to be his nature.

Good job Spies! Qualifying better than the other Zooks is an accomplishment. His track experience is cancelled by their bike experience.

The race tomorrow might be quite entertaining if it's pouring down rain - how about Ant West from last to first?

Don'tcha just love motorcycle racing?

Stoner said they blew an engine

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Pigeon @ Sep 13 2008, 08:47 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>some good comments on Eurosport from many good sources

Dani to bridgestones

Dani used blackmail allegedely give me bridgestones or i wont finish the season dummy/teddy

They actually didn't specify that the blackmail was Dani's doing, and they went on to point out that Dani is a decent guy and insinuated that the people around Dani have a very negative influence on his image.

Yeah,it was good to see.I think he knew it lost him time but did it for the crowd anyway.
Maybe he can be up there tomorrow with Vale,Casey,Jorge and maybe Elias and the Puppet.
The first few turns after the start is going to be really fun to watch.Four riders side by side?

cant judge anyone based on 1 quali session. look at toseland after qatar, been all downhill from there.

This race ia just like Daytona. First guy out of the last corner will lose.It is drafting that will determine the race winner.

It's obvious Pig was the one pulling that number. He was the one going round the paddock in Brno trying to get all the Michelin runners to boycott the race.

Regarding Spies doesn't everybody think he should be better than the other Suzuki riders? I mean his is the only rider there yesterday to have had dry track time. I would be surprised if he finishes ahead of CV in the race though. Additionally the rumour is there is no space in the inn for Spies next year.

I doubt this will be a close race, and the speed out of the last corner is to low for the draft to make any impact until it's to late. In 125 though...
