Unlike Friday's wet sessions, final free practice took place in dry conditions.

Noodlerizer could you please answer my question in regards to the weather: Why are you so confident that it will be wet before qualifying? Or are you just guessing?

Or are you just guessing? http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findwe...eekday=Saturday from this looks like 50% at anytime, so it could start dumping at basically anytime all day. For Sunday they are saying absolutely 100% rain, but we will see.

From Crash.net:

"Kawasaki's Anthony West, fastest in the wet on Friday, was 19th and last this morning - with world champion Casey Stoner just one place ahead of him. Stoner was the only rider who went off track. He got off his back and walked away."

From MotoGP.com

"2007 World Champion Casey Stoner was surprisingly off the pace in the dry, in seventeenth place and some 2´186 off Elias´ time, although tyre choice may have had much to do with the separation between the factory and satellite Ducati competitors."

So any eyewitnesses out there?

The word on the street is Grasini, however they are currently in negotiations as he wants a bit extra $$

Westy to Crapasaki WSBK

I think they have to wait untill it get's dry enough, both for quallies and race .

This situation is very dangerous. It will be very tricky with those walls and rain.
I hope no one craches around those walls, with other bikes behind can be deadly dangerous.

I hope everything goes fine and we get to see a nice race.

That aluminum rumble strip at the start of the straight or is it turn 4 or both? What a ....... cheapass piece of ..... Dry beautiful Q session and it will probably be better than the race.

Stoner had mechanical problems in Fp3 and the front end keeps breaking away...

possible motogp race could be the 1st race on the race day schedule if real bad weather going to hit
sunday's weather forecast dire for raceday (julez/toby Eurosport)

It's supposed to be.

If it were normal curbing the riders would ride over the top of it and out toward the wall.

well impressed with elias on the ducati.... i think we may see him on the podium tomorow if the weather and setup is rite.
