I never said it did. The word isn't mentioned once in my post - but then by your own admission you didn't read it, so like I say don't quote me, or rather mis-quote me as a basis for your misappropriated response. How does rossi not being whiter than white....have anything to do with stoner and his actions yesterday.



Simple thing really, but nobody has answered it directly yet.



Personally i havent been here long enough for rossi to act up badly in a situation in recent weeks.....so who's to say i wouldnt have the same opinion of rossi if he did the same thing?



like i said before...you just cant say anything bad about stoner even when he deserves some stick for his silly actions on the track. You cant judge a situation on its own without jumping on the defensive and dragging "valentino has done this and that too" into the subject.



When vale screws up i will admit it and be dissapointed, just because your a vale fan doesnt mean your knocking stoner just for the .... of it. He deserves stick for that manouver.

Have I criticised valentino in any thread since you purportedly joined the forum? Whilst I disagree with the bopper thing, the genesis of it is the view of some that objecting to criticism of stoner/hayden/ whoever is equivalent to hating rossi. Whilst your avowed purpose is praising/defending valentino you seem to spend much of your time criticising stoner, and it can hardly be unexpected by you that stoner fans will respond negatively to this.

I never suggested that he didn't - in fact I never passed any opinion on the incident - like I say read the post in question before replying to it. My original post was largely in response to your first paragraph. As Mike said - Stoner instantly gets pilloried for behavour that Rossi would likely be exulted over. As for cutting in front of another rider in retaliation - no I've never seen Vale do something like that in practice and it's unlikely that I ever will see him lower himself to such Biaggi like antics.

Much of my time?....dude i joined only a couple of days back, i have only knocked stoner this once other than using his as an example in another thread.



Read my post above....he deserved it yesterday too.



My whole point is....why the hell people have to bring rossi into the equation when someone is knocking a rider for something thouroughly deserved.

Yes i see what your saying.....



If rossi has done things in the past then fair play, i have seen him act out badly in certain situations(usually with comments), but whatever rossi has done, it didnt happen yesterday now did it....



And there lies the problem, you feel that every fan would appreciate the same bahaviour that stoner displayed, if it were rossi.



This is clearly not the case.



Had it been rossi, pedrosa, lorenzo, doohan, my own father etc i would have thought it was lame.

As to the incident I have your obviously unbiased word for something not mentioned even on crash net and which has prompted no action from the stewards. Was he wearing his leathers in an arrogant manner too?

This is precisely the point. If stoner is called a whinger for complaining about the corkscrew, and I say that rossi complained similarly after the elias incident, this does not necessarily imply that I am criticising rossi. As it happens I think that both were racing incidents, if a little close to the edge, and I can understand both stoner and rossi being annoyed.

I agree.....apart from fact that stoner wasnt upset about the corkscrew, but rather dropping his bike at 5mph.

To be strictly correct he said at the time he was annoyed by incidents prior to the corkscrew, but the corkscrew seems to have been his concern later (perhaps after watching replays as you suggest is de rigeur?.) He always said eventually putting the bike down was his error.



I almost always watch qualifying if it is on live at a reasonable time in australia ( ie not 4am) , but don' t have enough interest to watch a replay to the extent that I don't even know if dorna offer replays on their site , and arguing on the internet during a bout of insomnia is not sufficient to generate such interest.
