INDY 2010: prediction, practice, qual

Rob, I was sitting back watching your take and obvious bias and whilst some of your points are fair there are others that seem mired with vitriol so I figured what the heck, say a few things to try to discuss the point.

You are wrong here as CS has numerous times blamed himself for accidents and/or poor performances at press conferences (this year and past). Certainly he uses excuses at times, they all do as these guys are so highly strung they cannot admit failure as it would for them seem a weakness and likely affect their perfomances (just as CS did say was the case with the front end issues earlier this year)

Good reason for you ----- maybe, for others, maybe not.

Either way, he has a reputation and life goes on.

Haven't seen the incident - no judgements yet.

Have searched the usual spots but as is usual - nothing found, but then DORNA would simply remove it anyway ............... bastiges

And you said not to use that word .

Boppers as they are called exist for all riders, just the numbers vary.

I`m a fan of all riders....just clear that up quickly,as for the Stoner incident, does anyone remember what Doohan said about qualifying?

I`ll state it here for you.......`qualifying laps are off your own back,NOT at the expense of someone else`....simple as that.Casey is from the same school of thought,no wonder he was pissed!!!

How? Rossi and his team know the M1 specs pretty well.

Or at least they know how the M1 was at season's start. But, they have been out of the loop for many races.

There is no way they could know whether Lorenzo's M1 has been further improved or not (thanks also to the mistake Rossi made, to have all data sharing cut between the two sides of the garage).

Pitfalls of assuming he'd always be #1 rider and supplied with all the latest from R&D whatever comes

Anyway it is clear that, at least until Lorenzo has mathematically secured his championship, Yamaha have no interest whatsoever in complicating their own life by allowing again internal strife at the levels of 2009. If anything, they'll try to make Spies more competitive with the mission to close as many races as possible, and maybe the championship, ahead of the new enemy Rossi -- after all, he is their #2 factory rider, not Valentino who is now lowest in Yamaha's priorities

Simple, electronics.................. they don't go over it with spanners anymore they plug it in to their computor and down load settings!

Much of my time?....dude i joined only a couple of days back, i have only knocked stoner this once other than using his as an example in another thread.

Read my post above....he deserved it yesterday too.

My whole point is....why the hell people have to bring rossi into the equation when someone is knocking a rider for something thouroughly deserved.
