That would be beautiful. He should quit MotoGP and start a K1 figthting career.how true it is i dont know but i have just heard rossi has said he's not going to risk his life going mad so he may not even go to valencia, i doubt thats true but its what i'm hearing
Even if he makes it even remotely close to the top riders he would have to do it in the first 2 laps. If not he will have to push too hard resulting in his tires being cooked. He wont be able to keep up at that point.
Any factory bike can make it to at least 10th without having to cook its tires.
True, But your talking the difference between Open class riders and the likes of Dove, Cal, Smith, Alex and Pol, Vinales, Andrea to pass once you get to the top 10. It will take more work to pass them resulting in more worn out tires and he will have to make up time because they will be more difficult to pass.
All in all its going to take a lot of help and someone helping VR by slowing down JL greatly.
I agree with you 100%. 10th position & up is when Vale will have to work harder. Other riders will also play a huge role for Lorenzo. If Dani, MM, and Iannone have a blistering pace... Lorenzo could be 4th for a while. Rossi only needs to make it to 9th in that scenario. Lorenzo could find himself in a situation where he needs to fight with Iannone and the Repsols for a better position and that will make him more vulnerable.
I have no doubt that Rossi will make it up to at least 6th by the end of the race depending on Andreas pace.
A lot depends on how easily riders let Rossi pass in conjunction with Dani, MM and whoever else is at the top. I just don't see MM having any urge to be ahead of JL... which worries me the most as a Rossi fan. I see JL placing 2nd.. I hope I'm wrong... but I don't think I will be....
Which all blow big balls seeing that I was really excited about this championship coming down to the last race of the season.

Right, but Dani has been on form lately so maybe MM will focus on racing Dani and they'll occupy first and second.
I think I have a track day out in Vegas that weekend..... /QUOTE]
And I have one at Donington Park this Friday...I wonder which one will stay dry?
The riders in front of Vale will open up like the parting of the red sea for him. He's on a far superior bike and none of them have the balls or political weight in the paddock to fight him or dare to be responsible for any form of delay. He'll make 10 places in the first lap and be up to 5th or 6th by the end of the second lap.
Then all the media and commentators will start the usual sycophancy about how amazing it is that he managed to fight his way through the crowd, they'll forget the reason why he was at the back and the whole world will be willing him to win against the nasty, arrogant, spoilt, whining, arrogant (just some of the descriptors that I've heard) Lorenzo.
They might even start talking about a film of his life before the chequered flag.
It will be a rough day for him. Whatever the outcome, he'll be painted as the villain whilst Rossi will be 'Rocky Rossi' heroically portrayed as the underdog battling his way through the field of aggressors when in reality they'll be tripping over themselves to get out of his way.If that is he case, it might be a rough day for George.
He should get his normal jump if he can qualify on the front row, but not sure he will be able to hold off both Hondas. Not at that track.
Either way, I think it will be a interesting race.
If Rossi pulls it off, get ready for the next Ron Howard movie. Staring James Franco as Rossi...

I can already hear the endless apologists "What Rossi did was wrong but his performance in coming through the field cements him as the GOAT". It will be galling and sickening to listen to.
