The HRC promo pic posted on Krops site clearly shows the bike with Ohlins. All i did was ask why and insider spat the dummy out lol.

While he did also carry on to say given the price of the package a switch to Ohlins would be a drop in the ocean i still cant see why the pic would show Ohlins when insider stated he came with Showa.  If HRC were to show it with "upgrade" parts then surely the pic would also show Brembos instead of Nissin brakes. And why would HRC show upgrade parts that their not supplying?

The other thing i would like to know is why an employee of KHI would know inside info on an HRC project ? Coming across some testing lap times is interesting but doesn't make someone an "insider" imo. Just a pity he didn't hang around long enough to tell us some inside info on any upcoming kawasaki projects in the pipeline.

As he posted earlier on, teams can purchase nissin/brembo/showa/ohlins, as they see fit. That the bike was presented with Nissin/Ohlins hardware just shows one of the options available. If you read the bike news (and previous posts in this very thread) you would be aware of that.

Stop coming across as the hurt, hard-done-by-party. You have done far more than "All i did was ask why" - you have systematically set out to undermine his every post - for whatever reason, I can't fathom.

I, for one, found it interesting and his posts credible. If he has gone for good, you have only yourself to blame - if it was at work or school, it would be called bullying.

WTF? 17 pages of speculation resulting in what I said in the first place - no one knows for sure until testing and real races next year… But I'll bite anyway… Yay, podiums for Nicky and Aoyama are here!!!

17 pages shows that it was an interesting thread to a lot of us - pity the misery brigade had to .... on it.

Don't be so gullible. All i did was ask questions ,as others did. These were either ignored or met with abuse and insults FACT !

He claimed the proddy would have been on poll this weekend at Valencia. How did he work that out ? The bike hasn't even been tested at Valencia. And thats not forget an all time lap record was set by mm on the poll lap. Another statement he made and would not offer anything to back it up. You believe what you want mate. In fact i'm starting to think you and he are one of the same lol.

Off topic but while you're here. Where is my T shirt ? i think i'm upto 16 days now but i will check on that.

He didn't 'claim' anything, he made a comment - FFS, get some perspective.

You are treating his posts like the ....... oracle. He made some informed comments, but that's all they are. He didn't guarantee anything, he didn't demand that you support his perspective, he posted, like a lot of us do, to have a bit of banter.

Because you demand accuracy in all things, I will quote the post you found so offensive:

"<span style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;so he could probably lap the production racer within .3 of his factory bike without the soft tyre, which means he would have taken pole on it today"

<span style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;The key being, the word 'probably'.

<span style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;About the shirt - I got a notification you purchased on 3rd November. I don't know where you bought - if it was from the UK, you should have had it overnight. I just checked - "In Stock • Ships tomorrow •"

Maybe you should contact Zazzle - I can't see details of your purchase, that's not how it works.

Oh well "probably" that's supports all his claims then. When asked questions, if he didn't know thats all he had to say. Calling someone a ....... .... is not an answer thats likely to give yourself credibility. As for the Showa. Why would HRC show a promo pic with third part parts on it that they are not supplying with the bike ? Anyway to be honest i dont really give a .... anymore. I will just wait and see how competitive it is next season.

He didn't 'claim' anything...

Yes he did. Here's a claim from post #1 that hasn't even been touched on yet:

<span style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;The advantage gained by the seamless gearboxes of is very little in real terms when you look at how much time can be lost by a simple mistake in breaking or sliding.

To me that claim says, 'honda was stoopid to spend a bizillion dollars on a seamless gearbox' 'cause it ain't worth anything. Yet every other respected observer of the sport has credited honda's seamless with changing the bike's character into the user-friendly version we have seen this year.

I never called you a .... for asking any question, at least get your facts correct.

Yes, and if anyone heard Lin Jarvis talking about the seamless on the yam they will be under no doubt that is why yam say they have caught up to honda in the latter part of the season. Brakes is the only part where they lack now.

No it does not, every one loses time making mistakes, one mistake can undo the time gained by having the seamless box, the box has also made VR no faster.

And finally: way to miss the point, Austin. Usually the burden of proof lies with the person making the claim.

Burden of proof? This is an internet message board, not a congressional hearing. Not to say this practice is right or wrong, but the information presented here likely would be considered legitimate enough to publish by some, maybe many, websites/newspapers/magazines with coverage of the sport.
