Have been an Edwards fan since 92 and have always hoped he would succeed in MGP. The hope is long gone, but I still like him for his no BS attitude.

You've boosted my confidence that Puig/Pedro are ineffective at "....... over team mates" ........ since the only reference we have to test your hypothesis is Hayden ...... lets look at his performance whilst being "...... over" by Pedro/Puig v's "...... over " by Stoner ........... Stoner wins immensely.
Therefore we can assume that he will have no trouble "....... over" Pedro and Puig.
non-statistically ...... I don't think Puig wpuld dare try a thing against Stoner, even if he was remotely disposed to need to

Hence the my (tongue in cheek) wonder at the phrase 'extraordinarily talented in Motogp' in relation to Edwards. I can see why people like him though.
To be fair here, all of these riders are extrordinarily talented (and I thinjk that we all agree on that) but at this level some seem to go to a further step over the others and some formulae simply does not suit some riders (ie. I firmly believe that two strokes suit Biaggi/McCoy better than 4 strokes etc)
But given I wast he one who used the phrase (and have since explained it) I will now don a bullet proof vest, leggings and helmet
