true! this tour just gone was an absolute farce.. I love cycling, just a shame the path its taken..

i agree.
i see the floyd ladis case is in court, and i believe it was he who is pressing to clear his name rather than the officials trying to ban him. glad motogp isn't like that, can you imagine
<

i hope the hoff gets a second chance somewhere, and i hope his career is not totally destroyed over this.

Caseys bikes on steroids i tells ya! That Duc and those Bridgestones have been on the EPO! And Rossi's just a superhuman like Lance Armstrong
<
<

Dunno if it was after Rasmussen, but the reason why they stopped broadcasting the Tour de France here was that after all those doping cases it had become a complete farce and so the German public television decided to boycott it. Maybe Rasmussen was just the straw to break the camel's back.

About Hofmann ... It's not gonna be easy for him to find a new team now, even in WSBK. I guess he's gonna find some mediocre ride for the next season in WSBK so he can do what he can do best: find excuses.
<

Could not agree more, any rider who pulls in like that should not be included in any team,as has been stated I also think he will have a hard time finding another ride next year anywhere in any paddock.I mean come on even Freddie Spencer came out with some classics as to why he pulled in durning races a la " my contact lens fell out and could not see" you just dont pull in and site lack of motavation come up with something, well now for all his honesty he will prob go back to the German Superbike Champs.Luis D`antin was correct.Rant over!!!

......This misconception about Barros is starting to irritate me. One more time for the slow learners:

http://www.motogp.com/en/motogp/motogp_res...tm?menu=results
Barros is tenth. This makes him (except Marco) the top privateer in MotoGP. Top. Privateer. Only factory riders have more points than him. Out of the guys on private bikes, he is first. He's top of the privateer table. Consider private and works like two seperate tables, because budget and support wise they are. Now consider that Barros is leading that table, because Marco's bike is semi-factory anyway. It getting through now?

Please someone should through in the "White" towel for Alex Baross!!!..If No One will then I will at Phillip Island!!!...

Come on Alexis...Please Retire!!!...you’ve had enough we’ve had enough!!!

And as the saying goes...’it’s about time you F___en given IT UP MATE!!! Give someone younger a chance...fair suck of the save mate!!!
<
<
<

Its amazing how you can selectively block out details. And somehow I feel that if Barros were an Aussie you'd be praising him and suggesting that he has ten years left in MotoGP.

Nah an Aussie wouldn’t hang around as much as the old Alexis has!!!...Racer Baross has had enough and we’ve had enough of him, it’s about time some young guy had a chance on his ride!!! Give Chaza a go on the Duke!!!

Hard done by? So how would you call what the Hoff did to his whole team when he quit the race? I mean, those guys always work their ..... off, be it just for one or two points. They had to go away from Portugal empty-handed because their rider didn't think it was worth to finish the race for "just" two points. If he's got a problem with his team boss that's one thing, but he shouldn't have fought it out at the expense of his whole team.

Well as I have said before the Hoff was a very loyal rider and I would have thought a good rider for the d'Antin tem!!! Until that brainless Silvan crashed into the Hoff and did all the damage..yes I know that Casey did the same to Gibbers last year but Silvan is aint no Stoner d'Antin!!!

The Hoff is a professional, gentleman and a good dedicated rider but there's a limit to what a man with any ambition can stand!!! Especially when his beloved ride is given to such a numskull as Guintoli!!! I predict that Guintoli will be a big failure on the d’Antin Ducati!!! You mark my words!! And the d’Antin Ducati will wish so hard that they didn’t let the Hoff go in 2008!!!

The d’Antin Ducati team are just going around and around and around...2 points would make no diff!!!...The Hoff is worth more than 2 points!!!...d’Antin Ducati use are BIG TIME LOOOSSEERRSS!!! Now & in 2008!!!

Oh well that is your opinion mate...But mine is totally different!!!
The d’Antin team deserve all that they got from the Hoff!!! The Hoff should have crashed the Duke into their garage and blown it up!!! Like the terrorists in Iraq!!! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/.....gif FU's to all the d’Antin team!!!...there a bunch of losers!!!

<
's...One podium in 2007 that is all and never ever looked like doing nothing!!!...it’s not the riders it’s the bike and the team, there NO world beaters by any means!!!

If you don't like the owner that's one thing, but to lump the entire team as losers is entirely different. The only person who showed his character flaw in this one is Hoffmann. He let his emotions get to him and proceeded on letting the entire planet know about it. I’m not surprised you are rooting for him and defending his actions.

Yeah, crashing on a MotoGP bike would have been real prudent for him. Like the “terrorists”? Dude, please man, learn to make reasonable comments and comparison. I don't mind exchanging differing opinions with you but you need to work on your commentary.

i think i see your point here steve, what your saying is . he is a bloke with ambition and he feels he has been betrayed by d'antin because he is being dropped in favor of guinters.
i can see way that would piss anyone off but thats racing at this level my friend.
fact is guinters has shone compared to the hoff this season. teams have to be run as a business and this happens. the hoff new this so should not have been such a pre madona, as i said earler, most of us would kill to ride that bike in a gp in last place.

Yeah, I guess humor is hard to pull off if you're suggesting he should have sabotaged his race and risked injury and of course that very 'funny' attempt at satire to blow things up like "terrorist".
<
I do have a sense of humor buddy, but this wasn't funny.

All to get back at his boss? C'mon man, so he doesn't like his boss, wow, that hardly ever happens in the real world. Yeah, right.

The guy was a cocky ...... who acheived very little in MotoGP or in his racing Career. Just a European champion and some German championships.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(CSCVAW @ Sep 17 2007, 08:48 AM) <div class='quotemain'>
I agree, Pramac didn’t treat the Hoff right and wanted to get rid of him anyway! And I would be pretty pissed off too if the team that I brought such a large fan base to, gave my job to the fool (Silvan Guintoli) that nearly took my hand off!!! That is what the Hoff was really upset, pissed off about! And he only found this out on Saturday!!! btw: Fully fit the Hoff would kick Silvans arse on any track on any day!!!

Thankyou!

I mean, I think Silvans a good lad... but still, to replace the Hoff with him...

+ John Hopkins will be gutted!

So will I! I always speak to him at the Day Of Champions, he's such a nice bloke!

Like many people have said... so what? His bike is the worst spec Ducati on the grid...
KRJr stopped racing because he's riding the worst honda on the grid.. it's only fair!
