Blank needs to drive to Hodgson's home and kick his ....

Honda finally have a chance to make some progress in AMA superbike and Hodgson hurts himself.

The rider really does make the difference. Especially, if he's too stupid to stay healthy. Hodgson is in riding retirement. He's paid well to carry the Honda flag and enjoy America. It shows.

Thats really part of it though. A large majority of road racers train, using dirt bikes. It keeps them sharp and the feel you get from powering a dirtbike, tranfers over to road racing. And if you mean progress as in, maybe racing for second, than yes, they were making progress.

Yeah, a lot of guys ride dirt to stay sharp, and a lot of guys, Hayden in particular, are injured every time they throw a leg over a dirt bike.

Funny, because he's one of America's most successful dirt trackers.......ever.

Even though riding dirt helps guys stay sharp, I still have the opinion that Hodgson is on a riding retirement plan. He's the best Honda USA can attract and he's obviously loving America and riding for fun and big money.

I'm disappointed that he's been so badly injured, but I can't shake the feeling that he's earning a fat paycheck by goofing off (goofing off relative to the competition anyway).
