Hey roger & locks,

Both of you are a riot, (and I mean that in a good way). Looks like I got you to take a bite from one of my special recipe pastries (looks like you like doughnuts too, eh)
<
<not the fake variety.

Ok, let me clear the tears from my eyes after this good laugh I had. I think you guys missed a bit of my point though (along with a few others), I wasn’t including you two in this group, but it seemed you were feeling a bit included in what Mark B said. So I was defending you two when I said, I “wouldn’t” include you in this group, but also agreeing with Mark B about its relevance. Moreover, since our first exchanges, I think we have all began to appreciate eachother more.

I was just making a point about what Mark B said had some relevance. That’s all, and to support that I made reference to it. But of course, I got a response from Best that took the thread in a bit different direction. This is because Best tried to absolve himself/herself from what I had said when I made reference to nobody responding (maybe it was guilt). So I called Best on that (tried to hold accountable), yet no real responsibility was taken. (You see, Best tried to say it wasn’t noticed but Best was all over that thread and incidentally had responded to me just after I had quoted that anti-American quote. Which to me sounds hypocritical, and so I called Best on it). There is a saying in Spanish: “The truth doesn’t sin, but its uncomfortable.”

But hey locks & roger, keep the great commentary coming. Maybe we will have a beer together and laugh about all the “funny” stuff we come up with on this site. My skin is quite thick, as you see. And I really enjoy the mutual friendly banter. (but we had already established that before so lets not go backwards, buddies (I still can call you that right?)

Hey, someone say something back on topic. I’ll begin: I think Hayden earned the right to use the number 1. It had been a tradition before, and I think he’s showing his respect and knowledge of MotoGP’s great history. (But I will miss that familiar 69, oops I think I said this before).

personly i like it when riders use the number that indicates there position in the championship, i wonder who was the first person to personalise a number, mabe sheen with the #7,any ideas ?
altho it is good when your hero keeps a number because you dont have to change your cap and T-shirt every year.
i wonder if riders who choose to keep a personal number have more fans because there more easly recognisable to people who dont follow racing as closely .
think theres another thread talking about this subject if so sorry.

I agree, and have noticed your posts speak for themselves.

Hi roger,

(oops, I think the number plate things was from another thread. This one was actually just started with a link to Hayden's race by race comments. But it seems its ok to talk about here, but my bad though.)

So are you saying your gonna change your cap to a number 1 in support of Hayden?
<
Ha Ha.

But I do think you're right, it would be easier if they just kept the number. I think it would actually be in their benefit for marketing themselves.

Hey roger & locks, when a dear friend of mine and I use to talk about stuff and it went far and wide but we knew we were on the same wavelength, we use to put the symbol of lambda, it looks like an upside “Y”, are you familiar with it? We use to use that symbol to say, “yes, I get what your saying, even though…” Which was a way of saying: We get eachother’s points, and as we talk, we remain friends. Do you understand what I’m trying to say?

absolve myself?? guilt? dude i have no idea what you are on about! 'best' as you like to call me said no one had noticed it? but 'best' was all over that post? which post are you referring too? it would be helpful if i could see it. and to make a point... 'best' isnt a moderator nor has the ability on this site to delete/remove offending posts. so if thats what you are aiming at then sadly my friend you are wrong
