I've been saying it since last year's silly season linked Hayden to a switch to Ducati for 2007.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Hayden should stick with Honda, this season Honda have made some bad calls, but they have admitted so and they will put it right as soon as possible.
It's agonizing to leave a factory HRC seat, even Rossi deliberated for the majority of a season before making a decision. Ultimately Honda will resolve the issues with the 212 and it will be a competitive bike. I'm of the impression though that Honda have been ungrateful towards Hayden in terms of development. Win a championship and watch your teammate get all the good stuff.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>I agree with that plan. The Honda situation is the most interesting sub-plot to the season for me besides the Rossi-Stoner battle. With NH looking more on form with the new parts and miniP starting to complain perhaps Nicky can salvage what has been a disapointing [to say the least] season. If Hayden puts together a good run in the second half of the season, consistently beats DP and maybe is the first Honda to win a race/Laguna, Honda will have a whole lot of thinking to do as far as who/how to support. This all could be happening just as Honda is getting it right and NH could be the one who gains the most.
I'm sure that's the game plan in Hayden's camp. Get the support from Honda through results is surely what he has in mind. The question is does he use that success to remain with HRC or parlay it to get himself a shiny new Ducati?
