Having seen Dani's battle and subsequent victory over Jorge, I have to admit, my view on him has changed. I've never seen him battle with such vigour, out braking and out thinking his opponent with such obviousness. I would argue that we are finally seeing Dani display his true potential. Its not often we see him ride around issues like he did today.

Whats more I know alot of people were quite confused by Hondas persistent loyalty to a rider who has never brought them a premier class championship. But seeing his team celebrating in parc freme, particularly Nakamota embracing him made me realise that he truly is a Honda man through and through. It was endearing to see. To be honest I was backing Lorenzo this season but after today I've got to say, I'd be more than content to see Dani take the honours this year.

Well done ratdeal, now people know the Brno result.....

People need to get a ....... life. If your to damn busy to watch the race when its aired, why are you on the computer clicking threads on a GP board.

a top rider still #3 in the present order for me

CS =1

JL = 1

DP =3

VR =4

Apologies #22. I've only been on this forum for less than a week.

However, despite being new at this I'm afraid Povol's logic is sound on this occasion. The race was almost 12 hours ago. But I'll refrain from posting spoilers in future.

On a personal level, I see alot in that post race reaction. The response of the team made me see they have far more faith in him than the Repsol Honda PR team instill in the race watching public.

Maybe its because he's tiny and childlike. ha

Povols logic is never correct on anything ratshit.

There is an unwritten rule that spoilers never be aired on anything other then the specific labeled thread for that race.

Moto 2 goes in its own thread as well all the others.

Povol how can you condone that. Ratshit made a newbie mistake. You know the ....... rules.

Well I guess I should apologise.

Sorry if I've ruined the race for anyone.

Dont worry about it dude, we have a bunch of stoners who are days, and sometimes centuries behind. I have never ever understood people going on a GP board and getting their feeling hurt because someone was talking about GP. Its like going to a .... site and acting suprised that there are naked women

No

What issues did he ride around today? The bike looks as sorted as its going to get albeit slightly more of a handful than the Yam but the harsh power delivery, the corner entry problems and the disharmony with the new Bridgestone softer carcass seems to have been sorted.

Dani was always a battler on a 125 and a 250 but this strangely never seemed to manifest itself in the big class. He's always been dedicated and Honda through and through and this is the first full season in the top class that he hasn't either been either embarked upon without a full level of fitness or been blighted by injury. I've always said that 2008 was his year had it not been for the crash in Germany. Great win today, and great victories at Sachsenring and Indy but as I suggested perhaps harshly on the race thread - today's race was effectively won by the drive up the hill in the final sector.

We're in for a fascinating finish to the season. Removing Casey from the equation - which may very well be the case...Misano? - Jorge, Aragon? - Dani, Motegi? - Jorge, Sepang? - Dani, P.I? - Jorge, Valencia? -Dani.

No.

Minor credit for not having a terminal sulk after JL passed him, but this wasn't exactly Edwards vs Baylis ..
