Gibernau...looking good at Mugello
FORMER GRAND Prix front runner, Sete Gibernau, has been busy testing for Ducati again at Mugello circuit in Italy.
Visordown sources reported last month that the Spaniard was back on the MotoGP scene, after Gibernau was spied testing the GP8 for Ducati.
Sources also say the former championship runner-up is the first choice to replace Ducati's Marco Melandri, as the talented Italian has failed to produce any significant results this season.
Melandri has been given two races to prove he's worth keeping in the team, and from what we've seen of him so far this year you'd better not hold your breath. Despite his poor form, rumours flying around the paddock reckon that Kawasaki may be interested in Melandri to replace an injured Hopkins.
