mustn't have hist submit yesterday so will retype - even if my ample butt is getting splinters from this fence.

Question 1.
A bit of a two edged sword as I suspect that JL wants to be a team's #1 rider as his ego is struggling to accept another two years as a #2 (if not 5 years given recent Rossi comments). So, Ducati's Marlboro precipitated offer is enticing - but does it make him #1.
Alternately he is on the best bike available in the paddock today and whilst VR stays in that team JL can be guaranteed that Yamaha will pour big dollars into ensuring that the bike stays the best as VR would accept nothing less.
For mine, no organisation would spend 13million across two years on a #2 so JL to Ducati as team #1 firstly but no doubt money helps.


Question 2.
More fence sitting but my gut feel tells me that Stoner is out but by his choice more than that of Ducati and to complicate it further I also suspect that Hayden is out (Suppo does not seem to value Hayden much).
I expect to see the Ducati team of Lorenzo/Kallio next year


Question 3.
Not sure on the straight swap as the situation at Honda adds a little flavour, but I cannot and do not see Pedrosa at Yamaha.
Hayden, possibly as it has already been stated that VR has supposedly given the green light to that move, but then I also see CEii as a possible, although doubtful as he has more to offer Tech3 when Spies gets there.
The dark horse could be Stoner (although I do not expect him around in 2010) as it has been made clear that Yamaha wanted him before, JB wanted him and he is not the ego of a Lorenzo in terms of demands. But, he would be as strong competitively as VR and whether VR would want this as well as whether CS would want it - to me that is the longest odds.
Agree with those who jokingly or seriously suggest that CS may end up at Repsol yet as a lot does depend on the Puig/Pedrosa situation but once things start to settle, Honda will either fold like cards in a wind or stand firm.
So, noope, no straight swap.

Ducati.) I think he will go to Ducati. People may think its silly but J-LO loves the Money and Status.
Also for Ducato to offer so much money to says theres alot going on behind the scenes.
Plus J-LO is arrogant enough to beleive that he can beat anyone in the world on a bike, and
it may not be a money thing, mabe he knows he cant beat Rossi in a fair fight, and mabe
he thinks Ducati can do a 2007 again.


Stoner.) I think Stoner, if he aint gone now he will sign with Yamaha or Honda for 2011. Theres
alot going on behind the scenes that none of us are aware of, thats why it will be awesome
to see how this things pans out. I just think Stoner/Ducati have fallen outta love so to
speak. I think Hayden will stay at Ducati, the American market is huge for Ducati and Nicky
is one of the best Bike Developers there is.

Yes....) If Ducati do sign J-LO i reckon its because Casey has made a decision or Ducati have made
that decision and think J-LO could beat Stoner in a straight fight. Its realistic for Yamaha to
get Stoner, you see straight swaps all the time, and a FiT Stoner is still the best if not
second best rider on the grid..

If Ducati signs Lorenzo, and if Stoner is very unhappy at Ducati, would Ducati release Stoner from his 2010 contract?
