Ok people, stop riding the fence. Before we get the official word, what says you? All these rumors, lets see who on the forum has a true pulse on the outcome.

(.... it, we don't have enough threads dedicated to the Lorenzo saga)

Here are my votes:

1. YAMAHA. (I just can't wrap my mind around him leaving such a great bike. But I will put it out there now, if he does leave, this says alot about Rossi's influence on who he prefers as a teammate, somebody who makes his life hard or easy. Rossi alread said on the record he wants Lorenzo to go--ball is in Lorenzo's court. Conspiracy theory? yes--I'm not so naive to believe that backroom deals are not in full session. Perhaps Dorna doesn't want the series a one manufactures show between two teammates. Perhaps Rossi is on the phone asking Yamaha for a replacement lacky. Win win for Yamaha, if Lorenzo accepts the lowball offer bequest, they get a title contender for a bargain).

2. HAYDEN. (I just can't wrap my mind around Ducati saying good by to Stoner, their best rider ever. Then again, Stoner may be disgruntled and want to leave if Ducati release him from his contract. Hayden is a proven lap dog for the need to have a #1 that isn't him/ Plus, he's not actually succeeding with the Ducati.)

3. YES. (But then again, something sensational and unforeseen could happen. What I have no idea. But if you picked this choice, tell us what your wild imagination thinks of...)
 
Uhm, when I said "get on the record" I meant 'make your vote known'. Its ok if you're wrong. Nobody knows yet, right?

I don't want to hear any "I told you so" if you don't have the balls to call it before its official.

Seriously I'm only going by what the majority of the press are saying.

Question 2 - Again I don't know the situation with Stoner so it could be either. I voted Stoner because something doesn't sound right about the whole affair.

Question 3 - I think there will be a bit of seat swapping should JL choose Ducati.


If nothing else it's been a fascinating silly season so far, and there is a lot more to come.

Haystack stays at Ducati, kicks Lorenzo's ... in 2010.
(Neither will challenge for the title, but Nicky will come out on top.)

If we hear anything soon (around Indy) it will be with Yamaha, in another month Ducati.

He should stay with Yamaha, but I think we will see him in all red next season. It will be in Haydens place.
 
Ooh yes, no strait swapping. I think Nicky's rides are over in GP (for 2010 anyway) and he'll be kicking-a in SBK
 
1. i think j-lo will stay at Yamaha

2. ducati and honda will stay as they are

3. there will be musical saddles as tech3 try to squeeze Spies onto one of their M1's

Lorenzo will take the money and go to Ducati, Stoner to Repsol honda, Pedro to Fiat Yamaha...

it'll all be rather anti-climactic and he'll sign with Yamaha. i'm so sure of that i'm not gonna even bother with the other questions.
 
Lorenzo will succumb to the temptation of a #1 seat and $$$, in that order, and that color is RED.

I'm guessing that they will give Stoner the boot. From what I've read, Marlboro is wagging the dog, and I don't see how they can afford two #1 priced riders. Believe me, my heart would love to see Hayden go to Yammy.

This leaves factory Yammy with an open seat, and $3.5 mil to spend. This is where it gets crazy. I'm going out on a limb here. Hayden sees the open door, and runs, not walks away from Ducati, exercising his contract option to do so, and takes the seat at Yamaha, for less than $3.5 mil.

This leaves Ducati with Lorenzo and an empty seat, Kallio to fill it.
 
Oh yeah, what of Stoner. Stoner, felling like a used up whore dumped by the side of the road will approach Honda. Honda sends Pedrosa and his mentor packing! I can dream can't I?

I dont think anything has been officially confermed yet, just in princable, unless you read mcn and they said a lorenzo move had been signed months ago which we all now know to be .........

well its hinted that vermi is gone but yeh bautista is a confirmed suzuki rider
 
Lorenzo may well go to Ducati because he loves the money and the status, and he has already seen that he will never win a title against Rossi on the same bike.

In case he has not seen well enough (or accepted) the obvious, he may remain at Yam until he is forced to see and accept it.

Stoner would leave Ducati the moment Lorenzo joins.

The rest will be musical chairs
