Future riders of Moto GP

Ben Spies (near future)

Josh Herrin (has impressive talent, but lots of things have to align for it to become a reality in about 3 years)

Benny Solis (13 year old Mexican-American phenom, has talent, potential, but again, lots of things have to go his way, like MotoGP not gifting rides to overrated Spaniards on great machines).

I really think Spies will be in WSBK before MotoGP.

Herrin is the best US racer in the world IMO. At his age, he is years past Nicky Hayden, Ben Spies, Colin Edwards.

Isn't Benny the kid kicking butt in the AMA Red Bull Cup?

Lets not get too crazy. He is good but he aint no NH.

Yes, Benny is the kid kicking ... and taking names. He's from my part of town. He started racing about 20 minutes from my pad. He is a machine. To put it into perspective, I have a buddy who enters the Toyota 200 at Willow Springs (the highest single race purse in the US). Benny was clocking the same qual times as 1000s, but he was doing it on a 250 four stroke!) The kid doesn't use brakes.

I don't see anyone right now... the lower classes have well and truly been ......

Bautista is a possiblity but from what i've seen of him this season... no!

Ben Spies i'm sure would have no problem getting the backing but do we really want another Nicky Hayden with less track knowledge.

Who said Simoncelli... LOL
