FINALLY CONFIRMED!! Ducati Welcome Lorenzo

He punted him. There's no doubt about it. Marc did the rest? lol typical bopper logic.

Actually no such thing ever came out.

For one instance where he said something, there's many more where he did not. Like accusing Lorenzo of being part of a Spanish conspiracy.

62 million people voted for George W. Bush in 2004, like a high number of supporters means anything.

Keep setting them up, we'll keep knocking them down Tom.

Never punted him. Any reasonable human would see that Marc leaned in, hit Vale's leg, his leg came off the peg, and Marc fell. It's really that simple.

Actually, it did come out. Can you prove otherwise? Can you link to that gofundme page?

There was a Spanish conspiracy, Lorenzo admitted it. He is on tape after the race saying that Mar and he are both spaniards so of course Marc would rather see a Spaniard win.

I'll knock you down like a Miami hurricane, JPS.

Do you have positive proof that Rossi himself orchestrated hate campaigns against other riders? I'm waiting...

Not proof that he orchestrated a campaign .............. but proof that he can influence a campaign.

Look no further than Phillip Island 2015 where Andrea Ianonne had the temerity to race against and beat Valentino Rossi.

Subsequently, a large number of rabid Rossi fans (as opposed to the many other fans of Rossi) began a hate campaign on social media, abusing Ianonne and calling him to question.

This stopped IMMEDIATELY that Valentino Rossi expressed his displeasure at the behaviours of these rabid fans (and Rossi should be commended and was in this forum for that act)

So, not proof that he orchestrates but inference and past history shows that he can stop or influence the behaviours of those many fans that partake in the distasteful behaviours.

I tend to think if there was a kick, concerning which I am unsure, it was reflexive/a consequence of the coming together and not volitional. What is in no doubt is that a bizarre non-racing move by Rossi which he admitted was deliberate and which RD found to be illegal had as its consequence MM being taken out of the race.

What JL thanked MM for was not pulling an Iannone/Dovi move on him.

I agree, there was no intentional attempt by Rossi to punt Marc off the bike. I also agree it was a bizarre non-racing move by Rossi.

What JL thanked Marc for was intentionally interfering with Vale during the race.

I'm sure someone will diagree. JPS?

Don't go there if you want your argument to be considered valid even a bit.

The guy is from Australia where Australian English is the main language. Thus, I would expect him to at least speak coherently when trying to make a point.

Wrong I suspect as JL's comment was made after Valencia where Marquez and Rossi did not get within the same postcode due to Rossi starting at the rear of grid due to penalties incurred

At the time of the 'interference' that you allege, Valentino Rossi left the race meeting in the lead of the world championship

But a question, if one is to access riders of a spanish conspiracy, does not the same apply to the Italian riders who moved out of Rossi's way at Valencia to allow an easier path to the front (not that they had to move as he would have passed them quickly anyway)?

I didn't see much opportunity for MM to interfere with Rossi at Valencia myself, talented though he may be, given he was in 2nd directly behind JL riding at near record pace the whole race while Rossi never got higher than 4th after being at the back of the grid well away from MM initially.

Granted I am an upper Midwest 'Murican, but I understood what he was getting at. If you truly feel that post was incoherent, you must be new to the Internet.

Now you are showing your true colors. Who said anything about Valencia?? Of course he didn't interfere at that race, the damage was already done. You are skilled in the art of trolling, my friend. Perhaps that bottle of brew SHOULD be aimed in your general direction.

Go on, answer. Don't deflect. Stand up and dribble a ........ answer.

My take is that when the US had a large contingency of riders, if need be they would "lend a hand." Italians have, and will do it as well. If I was in a competition and couldn't win, but could help a compatriot to win I know I would. National pride. It's not a conspiracy.

Go on, don't deflect.

Let me guess: besides being an upper Midwest 'Murican, you are also a rabid Lorenzobopper?? Your ultimate goal is to get Lorenzo to apply for 'Murican citizenship. Tell the truth, 'Murica is watching you!

While JPS continues to repeat his "Rossi punted Marc off his bike" conspiracy theory. That's not any less childish. He's already setting the stage to make sure it's an intellectually dishonest debate.

Conspiracy theory?

Imagine if someone sets a loaded gun on a table, aims it at the door, then ties a string around the trigger, and then runs the string at ankle height about 3 feet away from the door so the next person who walks through the door into the room triggers the string thus firing the gun so it kills them.

By your ........ logic (and Tom's too) it should be the victim's fault because well hey they walked into the room when they saw the gun...just like Marquez did it to himself according to Tom.

Intellectually dishonest? Get a clue already Vudu. Being intellectually dishonest would be anyone who actually ignores Rossi moving his leg back at Marquez and then Marquez going right down after his leg moves back. That is what punting another rider off the bike is. Just because it was at 40MPH doesn't somehow diminish the entire incident which is something your brethren have believed to somehow minimize what actually happened....I'll tell you what Vudu.

First of all BATURRO, you have taken this to an all time low. We shall discuss your behavior momentarily.

To answer the question, the Italian riders only let Rossi pass once the damage had already been done by the Spaniards. everything was on the up and up until Marc started intentionally slowing (as proven by the time sheets) to upset Rossi's chance at winning his 10th title.

As to you BATURRO, you are a disgrace to this forum, motogp in general, and the spirit of sportsmanship. You just admitted to a world forum of motorsports enthusiasts that you would CHEAT for your countrymen if the need should arise, instead of letting the spirit of fair competition play out. Shame, shame, everyone knows your name!

You have that mistaken with the Phillip Island race where JL sarcastically thanked MM for helping him by taking away valuable points.

Your analogy with the gun is terrible.

Rossi's leg was off the peg because Marc's bike knocked it off. Rossi running Marc wide and blocking his path to turn into the corner wasn't a racing move and he was punished for it. But at no point did he kick Marc's bike.
