I have said it before and im saying it again, TC is having to much say and is taking to much control of the bike away from the riders, i mean its good for safety but atleast give the rider some sort of feel and let them use there skill.
i dont want to see it totally banned but they need to step it back a notch or two or three.

do i want to see the bikes going sideways - YES
do i want to see the riders smoking the rear tyre - YES! YES! YES!

Which leads me to an interesting question... Did everyone see just how sideways most of the riders were going through turns 11 & 12 at Phillip Is? Tyres smoking most of the time etc...

Is it possible for them to program an ECU to allow this to happen??

Absolutly. Having the right input sensors and right output parameter it's really just a matter of simple adjsutment. My guess is that they have a normal deadband parameter allowing the wheel to spin up a certain percentage before the regulator kicks in. In addition the regulator probably adjust the target not equal to the speed but to the speed + a percentage wheel spin. In theory quite simple and nothing magical at all, in real life a few man years to develop :)
