You are comparing apples and anuses Barry... but we are all free to fantasise as we wish!!

YOu obviously have absolutely no idea ..... hence such an idiotic post

I assume that you have given your opinion without turning even a single lap on a two stroke racebike ( or even a 4 stroke ) in the code Stoner learned the basics of his "talent" ?

would have loved to see this guy on a 500,that would be a favorite moment.

Yea,me too.He probarbly was quite close to that on the Ducati,at least in comparison to the others using more TC.

I really like to see him ride any Moto GP bike with the way he´s pushing it.It looks like chaos but he probarbly has more control than I'm led to think watching him.

As said,a twostroke would probarbly be much harder to control, but I get the feeling he would master such a bike too.

Just watched 2009 Phillip Island.

Great race between Stoner and Rossi despite not a single overtake between them.

Stoner was incredible from Lukey through the last corner and on to the straight.

Rossi was unbelievable into Turn 1.

About 7-8 laps in Stoner backs off about 0.5 - 1sec a lap when realises that Rossi is going with him. Running 4-5 laps at this slower place could have been the fuel saving laps he had to do to run full power through rest of race. Then he just drops the hammer and goes. Rossi surges as well and gets back on Stoner within 3 or so laps. Stoner surging and Rossi following happens through the race until 2-3 laps to go Stoner when just drops it again and Rossi had nothing left. Awesome racing. Stoner and Rossi finishing 20sec in front of Pedrosa in 3rd.

Rossi goes up and hugs stoner after race indicating he had a bloody good time. Never seen Rossi so joyful after a second.

Stoner and Rossi sliding though 3 and over Lukey was awesome.

You can see in this race both Stoner and Rossi really riding the bikes as apposed to Lorenzo's style of not wanting to upset the bike. Rossi and Stoner make the bike succumb to their will. Stoner in a wild way and Rossi smooth but aggressive with it.

Other interesting events in the race. Nicky and Lorenzo in turn 1 on 1st lap. Lorenzo high speed crash and Nicky with a high speed seat of the pants ride through turn 1's massive gravel pit. Would love to see the spike on his heart rate trace.

DeAngelis finishes 4th. Where is he now?

Pole in the Aus SBK's would have achieved 13th on the MotoGP grid.

And Adriana's 3 hot friends who had us all picturing the orgy to come that night.

Mental, my dvd recorder died. I had that race on the hard disc and couldn,t burn it to dvd, then the whole machine went fut.

I would love to have that race again. Where can I find it?

I don,t think Rossi has lost it. I see him getting many podiums next year and may even snag a win or two.

Talking of retirement, any news on where Casey's crew are headed next year?

I was sitting at Siberia. Shivering like a dog trying to warm my beer up with my cigarette lighter....heaven at PI

My memory of PI is standing against a wheelie bin using it as a shield to block the horizontal rain whilst cowering under a poncho, hands shaking with cold trying to smoke a joint without anybody noticing at 9am waiting for the action to start.

Perfect!! Love the picture you paint! Always double wrap when smoking in cold/wind... That way the wind doesn't smoke it for you!!

with regular rolling paper this doesn't work too good for me,burns faster. rather lick the whole jay right up to the top to make it wet
