More critically, his skill seems to be using the rear tyre a lot to steer the bike but not wrecking it before the end of the race.

IMHO,part of the fun watching Stoner is that even someone like me can see he is really pushing the bike, and the thrill is there alot of times when I think he's going to crash but he very rarely do.Atleast not in the races.

anybody got a clip of how he slided the rear on the curbs in his corner?that was awesome stuff, thought he'd highside himself onto the moon any sec

great vid, too bad its got no engine sound instead of the music.

impressive stuff

i love how the bike is shaking at the exit of siberia and he jumps to the other side of the bike and still keeps the throttle open.awesome, awesome stuff

very cool onboard stuff.we need more of that here.

dorna should really publish a dvd on stoner , but unlike all the other docs (was there ever even one about stoner??) this one should just be race footage and onboard stuff. preferrably 30 laps onboard philip island/valencia turn 3

Pretty much every time he rode in Phillip Island it was pleasure to watch him but 2009 Phillip Island was awesome watching him and Rossi dicing for the whole race.

found it :

absolutely un-.......-believable. look at how the front and rear are shaking and hes still on the power to slide it through.thats balls right there

Thanks for that, CG. I think I've watched it a dozen times in a row. Head-shakingly good.

no prob,i've got loads of such clips on an external harddrive, if my foggy memory won't hinder me i'll put some of them up here.

love the one stiefels posted in misano (?) . cg, i like that. keep it up

+1 on the casey on the 500 comment, have to say though i think its good we've seen him on the 4 stroke. no way his slides and precise throttle control would work on a smoker in that exact way, would be more of a "pin it out of the corner" situation , mccoy style.

I disagree, Stoner grew up on two strokes and the school of riding, from whence he came, loves snappy two stroke power, Indeed as much as I like McCoy ....... Stoner is hands down a better proponent of "the art".
