The forum is just fine. We’ve just got one angry troll trying to see if he can alienate everybody on the forum. I think there’s like two or three people here who don’t hate him. Give him time.
Can't blame him really, I think Scotts days are numbered in GP though, he physically too big to make much of an impact.
I didn't know he was that big. Is he much bigger than Rossi or Cal?

Just a couple years ago that pair battled it out for an up to date Ducati the following year. Now one is moving to the factory team and another was apparently thought about for a seat at PBM in BSB and looks to have even been passed over for that.
Some of it is maybe luck but Petrucci's dedication to keeping his weight as low as possible is another major factor in the opposing career paths.
Good point. Petrucci is a much bigger lad. Petrucci easily beat Redding.
Last I heard he was 12.2 stone which is massive for a GP rider, Rossi who is one of the larger riders weighs 10.5, Marquez is 9.2. It does make a difference. I remember the early 90's when you had the 14 stone 6'2" David Jefferies riding around at the back of GP's on a crappy privateer 500 Yamaha, it almost disappeared up the crack of his arse :giggle:

Petrucci is listed at exactly the same weight as Redding. Its not the ideal weight but It’s not a death sentence on a 270 hp. bike either. Redding said if he had a factory Honda, he could run up front with Marquez. They gave him one and he did worse on it than the production racer CRT. and quit.Alligator mouth and a hummingbird ....
