JINX! hahaha. you should have never posted that.

Not superstitious nor do I need to pull my jocks out of my arse every time I get on my bike so more than happy to state a fact.

Who doubts his speed? It's his health that people have doubts about.

11. Hayden

I'm not nervous, I'm not nervous...

Well doesn't look like Stoner's vacation has effected him too much, very much in the mix. We may just see a battle between Lorenzo & Rossi! Peders will probably battle Stoner for last podium position (that is if Stoner doesn't straight up win).

What's going on with Suzuki? Geez they look horrible?

Wow, Stoner comes back and Hayden is slower than Kallio again.
<

Suzuki really look amazing this weekend as well. Why are they still running in GP?

Exactly, everything just were it was before sickboy left. No better, no worse the same. I bet by saturday he will get a rumble in his tummy and start praying for rain again. Just like before.

To be fair, he's been off the bike for 9 weeks. It'd be ridiculous if he was suddenly faster after the break than back then.

Rossi's Wit.
Valentino Rossi gave a typically witty reply when asked why F1 continues to have a bigger worldwide following than MotoGP, even though MotoGP has 'cooler characters and a better show'.

“I think yes. F1 is the number one motorsport in the world even though in recent years, and especially this year, the races are very boring,” replied the reigning six time MotoGP champion, who has tested for Ferrari on numerous occasions since 2004. “Also F1 has all the big car manufacturers in the world.”

The Italian superstar then smiled as he added: “All the people follow the F1 races - but more than half are asleep!”

After the laughter had died down, Rossi's Fiat Yamaha team-mate and title rival Jorge Lorenzo gave a more practical reason for the audience imbalance.

“When you go outside your home and you look in the street there are eight cars for every two bikes. This is the problem,” commented the young Spaniard.

I always thought that logically MotoGP should have more fans than F1. 8 cars for every 2 bikes is a notable point. But F1 aren't cars! they aren't something you can decide to buy one day and drive on the streets if you find your self enjoying and really into F1. What I'm trying to say is that if you like soccer, you can buy a football. MotoGP, you buy the bike.

The problem is, MotoGP is under-rated and not promoted as well as F1. If the tables turned and people took the time to sit down and see how exciting superbike racing really is, things would be much different. My proof is that every person I sat with and made them watch WSBK or MotoGP did really appreciate what they were watching. Then you got the ignorant F1 fans who flip the channel when a MotoGP race is on cause they think they're way too good and superior to watch it. I personally would never flip the channel when a F1 race is on. The gaps have been ridiculous this season, but I'm really trying to make an attempt in trying to enjoy it.

way things are going in F1 there fooking there sport up bigtime.with crashgate/spygate scandals rule changes stupid judgments after the results etc and we call dorna but they dont seem as bad as max.bernie.flavio etc

Umm...no. If you like soccer, you buy a soccer ball. If you like NFL, THEN you buy a football.

MotoGP will never get as big as F1, that's it. F1 has such a rich racing history that MotoGP is not even on the same map. I guess motorcycle racing is seen more as a 'squids' sport by the unknowing masses, while cars are looked upon more as sofistication for the well to do. And Jumkie ain't helping the cause of motorcycle racing either.... riding around in his neon-lit bike doing burnouts at his local grocery parking lot.

Isn't that like 4 cars for every bike? (1/4 = 2/8). I am glad he is fast on the bike!

I think he was using the classic 20% to 80% example
